Mini Album-Picture Heavy!

Hello friends, it's a busy time of year, so I will make this as brief as possible. I made this non traditional mini album for my friend whose daughter got married Nov. of 2022. They had a non traditional wedding, thus why I went with a non traditional album. So lots of flip outs, flip ups, waterfalls, pockets, etc...All the pages flip up or out and this mini album holds around 50 photos. I used a digital collection from Echo Park called Hello Autumn. The physical paper comes with a sticker sheet, so does the digital collection, only they aren't stickers of course. So I pulled images over and put a white offset around some of them and cut them out on my Cricut. This time I used a premade photo album and just added extra pages to it.

The Cover

Inside of the cover and first page that pulls for a triple panel on each side.  I put two horizontal waterfalls that holds 3 x 4 photos. So 14 photos for the inside cover.

This page pulls out in a triple as you see in the photo below this one. It was just a double pull out and I added an additional panel. I put a pocket in the center panel with a little booklet that will hold 3 3x4 photos. So 9 photos for this part.

This flip up I added, the book didn't have one, so I added it. I wanted extra room for photos.

This is a little half page I added to magnetic down the waterfall on the back inside cover.

And that is my mini album, I hope you enjoyed it as it was a labor of love! My friend loved it and I was a happy camper that she did. I had lots of fun making it.

As always, thank you for taking time from your busy schedule, especially this busy time of year, to visit me and seeing what I'm up to. I sure appreciate it and enjoy your comments!

More Christmas Cards

Hello friends, hope everyone is doing well and if it is snowy and cold where you are, stay warm.

I'm back to share a few more Christmas cards. I had seen Brenda over at Inkspired to Stamp use this die a while back and just had to order it for myself. I don't buy a lot of crafty goodies anymore, but there have been a few things I've just had to have. All these cards are the same except for the center image as you can see. I had fun making these and love how they came out. My little images were the perfect size to place on this layer die without covering up the beauty of it. Love the embossing too. When I think of Christmas, I think of love, peace and joy...so those are the sentiments I used. As you can see, I made 8 of them. I do wish I had used kraft, gold mirror and red cardstock for my plaid dies, but still like the way they turned out. I might make more using that color combo to add to the stash for next year. We will see.  They look so much prettier in real life than they do in the photo's.

Thanks for taking time from  your busy schedule to come and visit me, I appreciate you and your comments!

Christmas Cards

Hello friends, I have a few Christmas cards to share today.

First one uses a stencil from Simon Hurley. I bought a few crafty things this year, this was one. I thought these trees were so sweet/artsy and perfect for a CAS Christmas card. I made 4 in three colors. Stenciled my little trees on and then place them on a mirror gold card.

Close up of the pink one, I didn't capture the shine of the gold paste, but in real  life it has a nice shine to it.

I saw a card similar to this one on Pinterest and I love the simplicity of it. Mine is a little different, but not by much. So I used what embossing folder and snowflake die I had and made it. My regret....I wish I had stamped the sentiment in a Kraft colored ink instead of black. But it is said that a little black adds a bit of elegance, so I'm sticking with that. I made a few of these as well.

That's it from me today. Thanks for stopping by, it is always appreciated.

Golf Centerpieces for High School Banquet

Hello crafty friends, I'm back with the golf centerpieces that I made for my nephew's golf banquet. I'm sorry but I can't edit my photos as iPiccy isn't supported on Windows anymore. I guess I will have to have Bret check things out for me. Until then, you get the unedited versions of my photos. Sorry about that!

My SIL sent me a photo from Pinterest of what she wanted and I made it with my own tweaks. This is the container my SIL got and I designed and put the vinyl on it. My brother wanted each senior's name to be added on. He bugged my SIL until she agreed to let each senior take a centerpiece home with them. lol

These are the flags I made. I used stiff felt that I cut on my Cricut and vinyl along with a square dowel rod. The is a golf flag on each side of the dowel rod so it can be seen from each side of the table. I just used hot glue to glue them to the dowel rod and then glue the point of each flag together.

My SIL put them together, she glued the flag dowel rod in then placed stones at the bottom, then the moss and the golf balls.

In the end, they asked me to make 11 of them, The kids and parents were very pleased with them and that's always nice to know. I think they turned out nice too.

And that is it. As always thanks for taking time from your busy schedule to see what I'm up to once again.  I will be by to visit you soon too!

I'm Sorry! Where Have I Been?

Hello my crafty friends, I know it has been 3 months since I've posted and you probably don't even remember me! It's been a busy summer and I decided to enjoy it and take time off from commenting and posting.

What was I up too you ask? Let me show you with my photo's.

Went to our annual Pink Out. Always held at the Rice Mansion in the town next to me. They own Utz Potato Chip Company. It was held outside in the garden this year, such a beautiful day too along with yummy food.

Had a house warming party with family for Bret, made these favors for it. Only photo I got as I forgot to take any other photos! Bad mom!

Went on a girls getaway. We had lots of fun going to winery's, playing games in the evening in our cabin and drinking said wine, and watched a show of Polynesian Dancers. They in turn taught the audience how to do a dance and no, I didn't go up to learn. Was still healing my back. It was a fun show though!

Had some pool time. Granddaughter came and stayed for a few days to enjoy the pool.

Learned how to take a photo of the moon with my cell phone, this just amazes me. First one is of the Harvest Moon and second on is the Hunter's Moon when it first came up and was orange.

Made this sign for Dwayne's uncle for a parade

Went to the  movies to see Elvis of course, also saw Downton Abby, and Where the Crawdads Sing. Doggy sat Bret's dogs many times and playing ball with them constantly, mowing of course, going to the Senior program at the library twice a month and made golf centerpieces for my nephew's golf banquet, each senior got a centerpiece to take home. Looking forward to sharing that with you along with a mini album I made for a friend. Have a sewing project to share as well that I worked on over the summer too. Lots of other things, but can't think of them at this time. lol  Crafty things are coming to the blog soon. I plan on getting back into the swing of commenting as well. Thanks for hanging in with me as I get back into the swing of blogging and commenting, I appreciate your patience.
