I have Easter cards for today. A sweet friend from CA, who is no longer with us anymore, sent me lots of embossed backgrounds that she embossed using some Anna Griffin embossing folders. So I decided it was time to use them as I've had them for years and years. I really miss my friend, but I know she is in a better place just like Dwayne. Some embossing folders, I used the embossed side, other's I used the debossed side. I saw this cross die (NBUS) and I fell in love with it. I didn't have any cross dies and this one was on sale, half off I think or more, so I snagged it. I think it is gorgeous, a tiny bit fiddly, but well worth it. I made a bunch of these Easter cards, don't remember how many exactly, but around 10 I think. I love how simple they are, but to the point of what Easter is really all about. They also looked much better in person than they do in these photos for some reason.
Edited to add: I'm taking this over to the NBUS Challenge since the cross was a NBUS
All the outsides look like this, except for color and the embossing folder.
but in real life he wasn't.
Following photos showing the different embossing folders I used.
Thank you for stopping by to see what I'm up to in my little world. I'm sorry once again for being behind in commenting. I hope to start commenting tomorrow. Once spring has past, them mowing will slow down to just twice a week, but right now, I have to mow constantly or else I'm making hay. Not fun to make hay. LOL I hope you are enjoying lovely weather as well!!!
