Wood Slice Ornaments

Hello crafty friends, I hope you are keeping warm and aren't dealing with snow, ice and all that comes with winter time. If you are having the winter stuff, then I hope you are able to stay in and just stay warm!

I had forgotten this in my last post, so wanted to get them posted. I painted my wood slices with white and black paint. Then using vinyl and my Cricut, cut out Christmassy words to place on one side and a snowflake to place on the other side. Painted some beads in black and white as well and threaded them onto the hangers. I love how these look and think they are so fun. Have a bunch more I can make. Not sure how I will change them up yet, but I will do something different. I hope you find these as fun as I do!

Sorry I am behind in commenting again, I hosted my sister friend for 5 days. It was nice to have her around and we had a great time. Bret will be moving next week, so I will be coming and going with comments then too. But hopefully I will make it around to everyone. As always, thank you so much for visiting with me for a spell. Your comments always make my day and warm my soul! Again, I hope to be by to visit with you as well very soon.

Crafty hugs,

You always make the cutest and most original gifts! These are so unique and clever and make the cutest ornaments! I admire how you're able to create things like this to share - and you did a great job with all of them! I'm glad you had the company for a few days, and I know it will be a busy time with Bret moving soon. Take care and stay well! Hugz

These are great, Brenda. They would look cute on the Christmas tree or added to a package. They make cute little extra gifts in a card too.

I'll be thinking of you next week - don't I remember the tears when my son went to college, then again when he set out on his own!

What a great job with these wood slices, Brenda! We have a dusting of snow this morning. So pretty and the roads are clear. The perfect snow!

How creative and fun these are. I’m amazed at all your ideas using your cricut! Love these. I bow to you for being able to thread those beads on that string. Sometimes that’s so difficult if the holes are small. These are terrific.

More GREAT ideas and gifts Brenda, you really make the most ideal pressies. Love the sayings and beads on each one. Clever Gal.

How lovely to have a visitor to enjoy and talk about something different to usual. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the visit. As for Bret leaving, you must be pleased he is going out on his own and independence, it will be hard for you, I'm sure, as much as he needs his space too.
Take care and look after you too.
hugs
