Knee Update and Cards

Hello my crafty friends, long time again since I've posted. I kind of feel down a rabbit hole with Netflix and with being more mobile the last few weeks, I was up a little more moving around. Then I had my last appointment on Aug. 24th. Doc released me! Yay!!! So now I have spent this last week and a half trying to get this leg/knee working right. I think it is going to take some time to build the strength and my stamina back up to where it was. I am so thankful to be mobile again with my own two feet though! Some days, it goes good and other days don't, but I will get there eventually. I am also trying to catch up on house cleaning as Bret only did a tiny bit of that. lol So I do a little and rest a little. Again, will eventually get there too.

I have two cards that are old and never got posted, so thought I would share them. Of course they are simple and not much to them. Here is the first one, just some stenciling and fussy cutting. Just a very CAS card.

This second one is a complete CASE using my Cricut, and the print and cut feature on speech bubble. I CASED it from Faith over at Daffodil Cards and although I couldn't find her card on her blog, I am pretty sure it was her I CASED. Let me know Faith, if it wasn't you. I CASED someone! lol  Edited to add Faith's card, she attached the link in her comment below, so go see her card here. She thinks mine is better, but I beg to differ!

Well that is it for me. I thank you for stopping by and seeing what I've been up to. I hope to get back to making cards and crafts soon. As always, your comments make my day and make me smile!

I'm so pleased you are released and up and about some. The housework will still be there patiently waiting when you are ready, so don't stress. Your stenciling is beautiful and the shading is lovely. Oh my, that birthday card made me laugh. I will have to case that sentiment! Take it slow and get completely well.

I just called by to send a hug and love for you comment Brenda. I'm so happy for you and also what super cards. Our DIL adored her card! Meanwhile I slipped, rather than fell, onto the floor whilst standing up from a sofa on Tuesday and it's a very long tale. No injuries but it was a long session until eventually, due to weak shoulders and joints, I had to be rescued! Next time - I will return as a worm!

Take care

Di xx

Hi Brenda..It's so good to know you're 'getting there' but don't overdo it and housework can wait! Your cards are lovely and so glad you're feeling so much better hugs Sue x

So glad to know the knee is back to being useful once again! Recovery never comes quickly with those types of injuries, so just go slowly and carefully. No more earwig incidents! LOL Loving that pretty first card with the big flower and soft background. I love CAS designs and just find them so difficult to create! The 2nd card is so funny with that smiling TP roll! Clever idea and a fun CASE even though I've never seen the original. I'm sure it was just as cute and funny as yours. Do have a peaceful and relaxing holiday weekend and continued good health wishes coming your way! hugs

I'm glad you are mobile again, Brenda! Don't overdo it now. Love, love, love this sunflower and the stenciled background! Such a happy card! The second makes me giggle! The news says people are starting to hoard toilet paper again, so it will be appropriate! Take care.

OH! Brenda I am so happy to hear you're up and sort of about! enough for housework? yuck, I'd make your leg an excuse not to do too much hahaha. Your sunflower with stencilling and fussy cutting is so beautiful, I love the simple sentiment with it also. As for your toilet roll card, I am so honoured to have been cased, but I have to admit to yours being better. I love the happy face and your sentiment shape. A Super card. mine is here https://daffodil-faitha.blogspot.com/2020/05/another-toilet-roll.html

That is so good news about your knee/leg Brenda but take it easy as it does take time to build back up again x. Housework can wait....lol x.
What a sunny card with pretty blending and loving the soft stencilling in the background and thanks for the chuckle with the second fun card x.
