Garden Flag

Hello my crafty friends, hope your Sunday has been a good one or that your Monday is off to a good start depending on where you are in this small world. Things are going pretty good here. I'm getting better at the walker and the smaller leg brace is working wonderfully. Much more comfortable or as comfortable as a leg brace can be.

This garden flag (got them from Amazon) I made as one of the gifts I gave my friend whom I made the card for in the last post. I put her town, our state, and her last name on it with glitter iron on black vinyl. You can just barely make out the glitter. I am please with how it turned out. I seen the idea on Pinterest, so it is not my own. I want to make two flags for myself, one for by the pool area and one for up by the house. So hoping that when I'm able I can mine made. I'm just glad that I got her stuff made before my mishap.

As always, thanks for stopping by and visiting a spell. It's always good to see your smiling faces. Your comments always bring much joy to my life. If I haven't been by yet, I will be by soon.

Crafty hugs,

Glad to hear your mobility is improving with the shorter leg splint, and is a wee bit more comfortable. That flag is a great idea and looks wonderful Brenda.
Stay safe

I am so glad the smaller brace is working out for you and that you are manging the walker better. Continue to take it easy and rest that painful knee x. What a thoughtful and creative 'flag' idea for your friend Brenda x.

Well! I haven't heard about a garden flag before, but love the idea Brenda and what a great gift for your friend. The glitter vinyl is a Super idea also.
I hope your "mishap" is mending it's ways and giving you some pain relief. OR is it MAKING you relax?
Hugs

I'm very happy to learn you're getting around better and learning to adjust to wearing a cumbersome brace. Life is never easy, but we move forward one day at a time! This is a lovely gift for your friend and one so unique no one else will have one! Great way to adorn your home with a little garden flag and you did a great job on it too! Take care, stay cool, and hopefully those storms don't hit you too hard! They had me up pretty much all night last night as I don't think I've ever heard such loud thunder before!
