MPC Things with Wings

Hi everyone, happy hump day!  For this weeks My Paper Crafting Cricut challenge we have the theme "things with wings" in honor of Tooth fairy Day.  Did you know there was a Tooth fairy day? Me either! lol Who knew?!  So I thought and thought about what I wanted to do.  I looked at all things that have wings, and just didn't know what I wanted to do.  My mind is mush and just couldn't think. So what I've come up with the greatest, but it is done.  I took a fence from the Ornamental Iron Cricut Cart and put it on a gate fold style card base. I printed my green and blue paper, then using Lori's Garden Imagine cart I cut that cute little bird, cause birds have wings right?! lol  Then for the inside I printed the "thank you" with the cute butterfly. My wreath is the Martha Steward brand punch and my banner came from MCT Vintage Stitched Label dies and my sentiment came from Teeny Tag Greetings Stamp Set.  Not the best card or very imaginative, but it is done and all I could think of.  Some days just aren't good thinking days for me.  My design team sisters have fabulous projects though so please go to My Paper Crafting and see what they have done and then go make a "thing with wings" project and link up with us!

I think this card is fabulous, Brenda! Your bird and butterfly definitely qualify as things with wings. Love the soft colors and the springtime feel of this sweet card. Great job!

I LOVE this! I have that cart and have never used it. Duh, never thought of a gate for a gatefold!!! I love the way it came together and the wreath is perfect.
Hugs,

This is beautiful! I love the little bird perched on the wonderful gate. The wreath looks great. You did a wonderful job my friend! I could sure use Spring right about now. Tired of the snow and cold!
Lots of Hugs,

I sure don't know why you said the card isn't the greatest...cause I think it shows a heck of a lot imagination! So many different elements on it. And your bird wings met your challenge requirements beautifully. I like the way you combined all the pretties on the front, and that wreath is really nice. Takes time to put all those little fronds together. This one gets an A+ from me, and love the gatefold. Nice on the inside as well. TFS
