Digi Dessert Fridaze

Hello my crafty friends, today is Digi Dessert Fridaze over at My Paper Crafting.  I'm not that thrilled with my card, but love the digi and think it colored up pretty cute.  I used the patriotic cupcake-makes for a great card to send to a soldiers or a loved one/friends birthdays who fall at a patriotic time on the calendar. I used my Spectrum Noirs to color my cupcake, a little gold stickles and done. Please come and join us by linking up a digi project. You can use your own digi or one of Melinda's digis.  If you use Melinda's digi you will have your name entered twice in the drawling!!  Plus Melinda gives away a free digi every Friday!!!! How nice of her!  So go grab the free digi, color it up and enter it the challenge!!

Brenda, I am not at all sure why you aren't happy with this card! I think it turned out really great I love the whole layout of your card, and the colors are just wonderful together! :)

Brenda, this card is great. I love the sparkle you have added but for me its the placement of the mats that lift it.

Not sure what didn't 'thrill' you on this card. I think it's great! Your coloring is very smooth, nice shading & highlighting. Love your assymetrical layout and the trims & colors you used so bright & cheery. Great job. TFS. Hugs

So cute Brenda. Reminds me of a when I was a kid and we went to a restaurant and they put a sparkler in my cake for my birthday. I thought that was the best ever. This is just adorable and I love the little buttons.
