The doors will soon be closing over CAS Mix Up and I wanted to join in before it did. I wasn't very creative using the corrugated cardboard as the warm weather was calling me outside. I manage to keep my card CAS enough to be eligible to play along after double checking with Loll. So for my CAS mix up, I used the required corrugated cardboard and stamping, I added die cuts and I tore my cardboard. I didn't color my image because I thought it looked better as a black and white image. I think this card will make a good masculine card as it doesn't have any frufru on it. lol Sorry I didn't get my photo edited, I was having issues and didn't have time to figure out what I was doing wrong and I know it was an error on my part!
As always I thank you for stopping by and visiting with me a spell and enjoying the beautiful weather with me. Your sweet comments always adds extra joy and sunshine to my day and I thank you for that!

Hi Brenda my friend! It is 20 degrees here in my part of the UK, so I'm jealous! LOL Another great card from you today! I agree, it would make a wonderful masculine card, which is just what I thought when I laid eyes on it! I'm glad you are having a great Sunday and hope your week is good too! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx

So pretty and yes, a great masculine card! I love that you didn't color the image and the corrugated looks great behind it. Fantastic!
Oh no.....when it's 60's we're running around in sweats! LOL! Have a great weekend and beautiful weather!

This is so beautiful, Brenda!! I love the image!! The corrugated cardboard adds such fabulous texture!! It's been in the 60's here, too for like four straight days!! I have a severe case of Spring Fever!! If old man winter comes back, I'm going to punch him!! ;) Have a great day!! Big hugs :)

Hi Brenda,
what a very wonderful card, and I love your stamoed image as it really lovely.
Great colours used too.
Lots of crafty love. jenny L.
I think this is so pretty! (and I love the way you've met the corrugated cardboard part of the challenge too!) Yellow & blue are happy color combos IMHO, and this mallard looks perfect as a focal image. I also like that you've left him B&W - to compliment the blue & yellow. Think I'm seeing some texture dots on the yellow, and this is a great bday card! TFS & Hugs. MM
I'm loving the royal blue and yellow combo, and that corrugated strip looks rugged and masculine! Great framework on that image too! Glad you enjoyed some warm temps and great sunshine today - it was a beauty wasn't it?!
I love this image in black and white and it fits so perfectly in the stitched ovals! Love how you've used the corrugated cardboard! I'm glad you enjoyed the warm sunshine and kept Savannah from injuring you! I'm also glad you shared this with us at CAS Mix Up!
Gorgeous Brenda - love the way you used the corrugated cardboard, and the simple layering and b&w image
Blessings

Pretty masculine card!!
This is awesome~such a great masculine card! Yes~we had a couple of decent days too~the sun even stayed out alllll day! I love it~
What a great design idea for using your cardboard, Brenda! It looks so great behind the lovely scene in the oval and makes it nicely rugged for a manly card! I'm glad you got out and enjoyed that warmth while it lasted. My Iowa sis tells me it will be down to a HIGH of 30 again by this weekend! But spring will be here soon! Love, Auntie
Fantastic design Brenda. Agree that this makes a wonderful masculine card. The bright blue just pops. Lots of texture from the added strip of corrguated card, and the image looks perfect in black and white. Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!
You've been having some wonderful spring weather! Hope it continues for you and you'll be enjoying sunny days again this week. It's been warmer here, but with lots of rain too. Happy to see the snow has finally melted away. xx
Fabulous bold colour combo, Brenda ... and that monochrome image is delicious ... it all fits brilliantly with the touch of corrugated paper ... so texture-y and touchable! Hope your sunshine stays around! Hugs, Anita :)
So pretty!
Your card is so well designed and nicely masculine, Brenda. Your color combo makes the duck image stand out. I love the corrugated paper. We're having mild weather here in Georgia also - low 70s.
Beautiful stamp and you are right a SUPER masculine card, LOVE how you have used the corrugated card with the stitched dies AND the colour scheme, a Fabulous card.

Beautiful image Brenda. I love how you added your corrugated strip behind your image. TFS and joining us at CAS Mix Up. Hugs..
It's hard to make guy cards so this is a good one. I had never used corrugated cardboard before so this was a fun challenge. I am starting to try new things. I am glad there are bloggers out there that do try things and pass them on for us to learn.
The corrugated cardboard is a great rustic and masculine touch - and it goes really well with the outdoors image of bird and grasses. Love the bright blue and yellow colour scheme. Thanks for joining us at CAS Mix Up.
