Rudolph Day

Hello crafty friends, the 25th of the month has come and gone already! What is so special about the 25th of the month you asked?? Well that is when Maureen over at Scraps of Life by Scrappymo has the Rudolph challenge start every month! My goal is to play along each month to have a good stash of Christmas cards made by Christmas. So why not join in?!! It goes from the 25th to the last day of the month, closing at midnight PST. Now I gotta get my card linked up for the challenge!

So here is my little card that I made to enter into the challenge. Isn't this little snowman cute?!! I was inspired by Sheila over at LaLaCrafts to use my Spectrum Noir markers and color as she has been using her's to do the 30 day coloring challenge that is going on in blogland. Thanks Sheila!!! I haven't used them in a long while because some of mine have dried out and I haven't gotten the refills for them all yet. So I picked some colors that weren't dry and did me some coloring and boy did I enjoy it! I'm not real good with coloring but know enough to get me by with some simple coloring and shading.

As always I thank you for taking time out of your day to visit little ole me! Your comments always bring much needed sunshine to my day and I appreciate them so much! I will be around to see you too soon!!! Any questions about  my supplies, feel free to email me and I will answer them. My email is in the all about me section.

And as Auntie (Darnell) says, here's my twofer! lol A very simple CAS card. I used my Zigs to color this little peeping snowman in with. I love my Zigs but I think I really love coloring with my Spectrum Noir's the most.

Crafty hugs,

Darling snow dude cards, Brenda!! Your coloring is wonderful on your first card, and I love how the designer paper with that postage stamp die goes with your little fella. Really a sweet card. I do like the second one as well. It has such a nice CAS look, and the font on your sentiment is just the right size and choice for this card. Well done you!! Hope all is well. Looking like Springtime here... Bev

Hi Brenda,
Both of your cards are adorable. Love the CAS look ... it is always the "go to" when you are short on time. Love your coloring, I think you did a great job. I like the spectrum noir markers too... but I do believe Copics are my favorite. :)
Hope you have a great day!
Hugs,
Jo

Your first postage stamp framed little snowman is so cute, Brenda ... such brilliant colouring ... the 'shine' on his hat is fantastic! I'm especially taken with his shy friend just peeking up out of his graphic frame ... he's so fun and deliciously CAS ... and has such a playful look! Hugs, Anita :)

Don't think I can pick a fav from these 2 cuties, but that little guy waving from the corner, might just have an edge. Your coloring looks great to me, on both Snowies. I also like the die mat behind this little waver, and the colors look quite frosty. Love the CAS look on #2, and the red framing makes this one just zing! Good for you with the Noirs, and I like the work on BOTH these cards! TFS & Hugs too. MM

What a pair of cuties for the Christmas pile Brenda! I love how you have the snowman leaning into the card in the first one and just peeping in on the second one. Great colouring too, and I love the addition of the little heart - so sweet. I hope life has settled down a bit and the snow has gone away now ready for a beautiful spring.
