It's All About Mom-BBTB2 Challenge

Hi my crafty friends, happy Monday to everyone! This morning hubby started his chemo pills. Hope it goes well for him and that he doesn't get to many side effects from them.

Gosh can you believe it is May?! It isn't quite feeling like May here. Still a tad bit chilly. But we will get there...soon...I hope. lol Anyway you know if it is Monday then it is time for a new challenge over at BBTB2 and our sweet and talented Emily has given us the challenge of doing a Mother's Day project. Well Mother's Day is Sunday, so gotta get moving here. lol  I have a few Mother's Day cards I would like to send out, these women aren't my mother, but they are mother figures to me. So this is a good challenge to get me moving.  I used the Cricut cartridge Simple Holiday Cards for my card, I made flowers with some punches I have, 2 are SU punches and the teeny tiny flower in the middle is a Studio G punch. I added some stickles and some liquid Viva pearls and some tiny metal dragonfly beads. My sentiments on the inside is from MCT Pretty Spring Wreaths stamp set. That's it, a simple card. So lets see your Mother's Day projects, just make sure to follow our simple rules and remember this is a Cricut based challenge. Need some inspiration? Look no farther than the BBTB2 design team. My design team sisters have some amazing projects for you!  I am looking forward to seeing your creations. Thanks for stopping by today and leaving me such wonderful comments. You always make me smile and make my day sunnier! Crafty hugs, Brenda

Goodness, Brenda, two stunning Mother's Day cards in a row! This one, like the other, is breath-taking gorgeous! The kraft and pink is an eye-catching combination, and the flowers, in yellow and blue, are lovely pops of colour! Oh, and the scroll (or is it flourishes?) die cut is simply beautiful! Yes, another card guaranteed to bring a mega-watt smile to the face of someone special in your life, just as it has to mine! What a cheerful post and heart-warming card to discover this cloudy Monday! Off to work; have a fabulous day, my friend! Hugs~c

Another beautiful special card. Love the way you did the pearls, and those bright flowers really make this pretty card shine. Really like the intricate die trimming in the image, and I'm guessing that is the ole Cricut at work here. I haven't made the 1st MDay card. It's hard for me to get in the mood for those! Yours are beautiful though. Hope things went well for the Mr. today. Also pray no side reactions too. Hugs & TFS

Another great card! How nice that you have several "moms" and I'm sure they love the cards you send. I hope hubby does well with his pills now and this is successful in all ways.

The flowers look so pretty with those glittered sentiments! The butterfly bling makes such a great accent, and the embossing is over-the-top fabulous! I hope your hubs doesn't have to take those pills too much longer before he's feeling well again!
