A Christmas Make

Hello my crafty friends, I hope everyone is doing well. It is windy and blustery here, but on Wednesday and Thursday we are to be back in the 60's, then back down to the 40's. I really dislike the weather temp swings back and forth. My body just can't adjust.

I have a Christmas make for you today. Will have more, but will start with this one. Lots of makes happening here, but I am slow! Should be farther along than I am. Oh well...hopefully I get everything done in time. This is a wood round that I did. I used vinyl instead of a stencil, but will be stenciling some too. I hope you like it, the angle isn't the best. I should have hung it up and took my photo. Oh well...you get the gist! I stained my wood round, then taped it off in the center to paint the red and white, painted the white rustic on purpose. Went around distressing the edges with Waverly antiquing wax. Cut my sentiment with my Cricut and placed on, made my bows and placed some greenery and the pinecone under the bow. Sorry the angle is making it look weird. Lesson learned! Easy peasy!

Thank you for stopping by and visiting me in this busy time of year that is only going to get busier! I appreciate your comments, they always bring me joy when I read them as you all are so kind. I hope the sun is shining where you are! Stay warm if it is cold, stay cool if it is hot where you are.

Crafty Hugs,

Card Recipe:
Cricut Design Space
Cricut Joy
vinyl snippets
Waverly chalk paint
ribbons-came with the wood rounds
Dollar Tree for the greens/pinecone/berries

What a gorgeous project Brenda - love the way you used the white paint to give a rustic feel to it.
We have temperature swings here too, with the end of spring going up and down like a yoyo, also varying between rain and sun... ah and a good dose of wind added in too.
Stay safe
Blessings

You bring sunshine to any day, no matter the weather, Brenda! and OMG is this adorable!! [Not one thing wrong with how you've photographed it!] I love the rustic Christmas vibe, and your darling double bow all decked out with Nature's goodies!
I'm so happy to see that sun peeking out today, my friend! Thanks so much for sending a little more!

This is gorgeous, Brenda. I love the ornament and the bows are so pretty. What a fun project. You are so crafty. We had some of that blustery wind too and it was so cold in the 30's the last several days. Suppose to get to 64 today - What is that all about. I don't have to wear oxygen in the house, only when I go out or walk somewhere. There have been times I've popped it on when I'm rushing and get short of breath. I'm learning to slow down and that helps.

That is gorgeous Brenda! Nothing wrong with being slow, I’m very slow these days! The sun is out here today which makes a nice change as we have had very grey days just recently. Stay safe. xx
