Cheers to Di at the Snippet's Playground!

Hello my crafty friends, the celebration of Di continues. First off I want to say if you are in the part of the country that is extremely cold, please stay warm and safe. It is winter after all, so it is what it is.

For my card today, I'm sending cheers to Di for her 7 year anniversary of running the Snippet's Playground, it is really 8 years old, but Di took over the challenge blog from Jules after a year. So for Di, it is 7 years of running the blog. She is an amazing host, so kind, so friendly, so talented, I could go on and on about how wonderful Di is! Parsnips, the bear is a hoot and tends to get us in some trouble out on the playground behind the bike shed, but he is a sweetie as well. And then there is the ever so cute and new to the family, Dudley. If you have had the privilege of playing along with your snippets (scraps) please do! Everyone makes you feel so welcome!! Di gives out prizes every fortnight (two weeks) out of her own pocket! So come and give it a play along won't you?!

My cards are on the masculine side, as I needed some for my stash. But I know many women who enjoy a cold beer, especially in the summer time. I can't drink a whole beer, so my late hubby always gave me the first cold drink of his when he had one. I miss that! But some of the boys will give me the first sip if they are here. So I guess I'm bringing the Brewster's behind the bike shed this go around. lol Yes, I used snippets, all papers are snippets except the card base.

If you stuck with me this far, kuddo's to you! As always my list of supplies will be down in the recipe section. I want to thank you for taking the time to visit me and leaving me a comment. Your comments always bring sunshine and warmth to my day. I will be by to visit you soon as well!

We are having a snow squall coming through as this Arctic storm comes in with the winds. Brrrrrr............I'm going to hibernate except when Kahlua has to go potty. lol

Crafty hugs,

Brilliant cards, Brenda. I especially love the first one, the tartan paper is so realistic, it looks like fabric. Hope you keep warm in all the snowy weather you are having. We are predicted to have snow tomorrow in my part of the UK, although we won't get as much as you! xx

Your cards contain all the elements any guy would enjoy! I'm especially fond of the plaid snippets only because I'm a big fan of plaid designs! Cheers to Di and cheers to you for making more cards in Di's honor! I rarely finish a beer either, unless I'm having pizza to go along with it! LOL Stay warm!!! Brrrrr

Wonderful cards Brenda - so perfect for a man as well! I love the fact you also used plaid paper, the Scots over here love their beer (along with a wee dram of whisky!). And thank you so much for joining in with Darnell's blog hop (THAT was one huge surprise I can tell you!)- as well as your really kind words.

Hope you're coping OK with the weather - it's on our TV over here about how bad it is in the USA. We have snow due later on today apparently but it's unlikely to be anything like you have, and certainly not as cold either!

Sending love and hugs

Four cards! Wow! These are perfect for the guys or some gals I know. I love a swallow of cold beer in the summer or even half a bottle. But hot tea is more like it in this weather!

I'm so glad you got your hands on the mag to get these fab stamps and EF. I LOVE what you have done with your cards, the plaid is an absolute fab paper to use with the beer. I think I will use you as inspiration as they are fabulous cards.
It's snowing here atm and we are supposed to have between 5-10CM, it'll be gone by Sunday though I expect. Your snow and temperatures are so bad, PLEASE stay warm and protected from it.

I always struggle with masculine cards Brenda but you have scored 4 in a row and I'm in awe. I love the plaid and plain card together and the bottom two cards just fizz! Stay safe in the snow my friend - we've had some here too but it's going away now.
Hugs

What a great masculine snippets card, Brenda! That would be a hit in my family of beer drinkers! Your tribute to Di was well-said and your photo brought back cold memories of my youth in Iowa in winter! It is what it is, but I hope it's true that you warmed up a little yesterday. Do be careful out there when you have to let Kahlua out! Thank you so much for joining in the Hop to thank our Miss Di!! Hugs, Auntie Darnell
