Blessings Fall Like Rain

Hello my crafty friends, I hope you are having a great week thus far! My project this week for Cardz TV Gallery is a quick and simple one. With hubby being sick, my time has been spent running him to the doctors and taking care of him. We have to get his fever gone before he can do the study at Johns Hopkins, it has been a busy one around here. So I apologize that my project is plain, but I think it is a good one. The Cardz TV stamps I used on this card are:

I used Suburbia for my lady with the umbrella, I can't remember what cartridge I got the grass from, the clouds are from Disney and Friends, and the flowers are from My Quiet Book. I used Glossy Accents for my rain drops. Papers are from my stash and I have no clue who they are by. And that's it, plain and simple just like I told you. lol Have a wonderful week, we are hoping to get results from the blood work and port blood work. Then maybe we can get a plan on getting rid of this infection that hubby seems to have going on.

Thanks for taking the time to visit me today. I always appreciate your visits and your comments! Crafty hugs, Brenda

This is just wonderful Brenda! I love the royal blue color with those Glossy accents raindrops! The silhouette is so pretty with that decorative color around the hemline of her skirt and the inside is as pretty as the outside! May your future days be filled with sunshine and rainbows and I hope your hubby finds the best road back to good health!

Oh, I don't think this is plain and simple at all, Brenda! I think it is a sweet scene and a beautiful card outside and in!

I see you have been on quite a roller coaster ride with that elusive fever. I've got everything crossed and prayers being sent that this will all be resolved in time for the appt. on the 28th. You are an inspiration in how you keep such a positive attitude through all the ups and downs! I'm proud to be your Auntie!

Congratulations on the news about the new grandbaby coming your way! That sure is the kind of cheery news you need right now!

Thank you for your visits and lovely compliments you've given to me! Sending love and hugs, Auntie Darnell

Brenda,

I was reading your last comment and thinking about how you always have so many kind things to say. Then I realized that I have never clicked to follow your blog. So, click I did!

Sending thoughts and prayers your way for the 28th -- hoping that darn fever is gone. :)

Echoing the others: nothing plain and simple about your card! Rather, it's sweet, pretty and ever so heart-warming - inside and out - just like its designer! A fabulous silhouette (love that dress!), a cute little butterfly (happy sighhh), and glossy accent rain, all combined, make for marvelous wonderful! Reflecting the sentiment back to you: may your blessings be abundant in every way!
Love, hugs and prayers,

Doing some catchup this evening. This does NOT look plain & simple. It looks like a lot of thought went into the design, and I love the silhouette. What really grabs the eye, after seeing the silhouette, is the fab raindrops. That was a brilliant idea to use the GA as you did. Wonderful rain. This rocks! TFS & Hugs too.

I really like that you kept this card simple. Your umbrella lady really pops against the background. And I really like your glossy accents rain. Great sentiments.
