A Licensed Driver-What?!!!! - BBTB2

OMGosh can you believe today is the last day of summer officially?!!  I don't know where the summer went but I want it back. lol  I'm ready for fall because of the heat, but can't we just skip old man winter?!  I hate when we start losing daylight and then have to turn our clocks back.  The night just last forever.  Wishing you all a fun and safe holiday today and we just aren't going to think about old man winter, just glorious fall! lol  Well today is also time for another BBTB2 challenge and our sweet design team sister Stephanie (please go give her some bloggy love!) came up with our challenge for today and what a fun challenge it is.  She chose for us to make a shaped card, any shape, any Cricut cart-fun right?!!  Well this challenge came at the perfect time for me although my shaped card doesn't have much shape to it. lol  I hope Stephanie will not be disappointed in me with this card for her challenge.  I would have made another card for this challenge, but my Lupus has been kicking my butt for a week along with my guys having me run all over the place last week and this weekend.  I have just been exhausted!  So we are just going with this card, so sorry Stephanie, I hope to make it up to you on your next challenge my friend.  Our youngest son is taking his license test tomorrow at school.  He has been driving all weekend with his school driving instructor getting ready for it.  Of course his instructor said he can tell kids that grew up on a farm and started driving farm equipment as soon as their feet could touch the petals.  Yep, he is right, Bret has been driving the farm equipment since he was a young lad and he can drive everything including the monster combine as well as his dad!  So I know he will have no problem getting his license tomorrow and that brings me to my card.  I made a license shaped card for him to celebrate his victory.  Not much of a shape to it and for that I'm sorry, license tend to be a bit boring and my "copy" is too.  I used Locker Talk for my license and I added info on it with a black marker.  I also printed a pic of Bret in passport mode so I'd have a pic to put on his "license".  I think it is cute, but not very creative. lol  Not really much you can do with a license, but I think he will enjoy it and I will then put it in the scrap album with pics of him driving with his instructor.  Ok are you ready for this card?!  Here it is.( I covered up our address with a piece of scrap ribbon).  Not very exciting is it?!

Here is the inside of the card of course I had to add some humor to this card-

I hope that you check out BBTB2 to see what my design team sisters has in store for you.  I promise you that their projects will be more exciting than mine. lol  I hope that you will join us in this challenge, just remember that this is a Cricut challenge so you must use a Cricut cut somewhere on your project and just have fun!!  Have a great week my crafty friends-until next time.  Crafty hugs, Brenda

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, it is so sweet of you all. Thinks will settle down soon I'm sure. It's just the exhaustion that gets to me the most. Carole, you'd think we haven't done this 5 other times and I am here to say it was never easy all six times!! lol It's our job as parents to worry isn't it?! Hugs to everyone!

I think your license card is adorable. A child getting his license is worry enough without having to feel terrible too. Hope you're better soon. This is very creative and I love what you wrote. Bet he hangs on to this one.

What do you mean "not very creative"??? This is totally cool and fun. I think it was a fabulous idea and your son is going to know it's very special because Mom made it for him.

Hugs, Jeri
