Happy St. Patty's Day!

Hello crafty friends, I hope your weekend is off to a great start. I have a question and am hoping someone has the answer. I've been going to some of your blogs for sometime now, but now all of a sudden,  I'm getting a message that reads "Dangerous Webpage Blocked!" on some blogs. Why am I now getting that message, I know your pages are safe so what is the deal...anyone know how to fix this issue???? I have been just hitting "continue to site" and it usually works out fine, but on some I can't even comment because the same thing comes up when I try to comment and it won't let the comment go through. Is it something on my end?? I sure hope someone has answers for me.

I made only one St. Patty's Day card and this is it. It applies to all my sweet subscribers, isn't the sentiment so true?!!! Even to online friends I have never met in person, but all who mean so much to me. I am a lucky and blessed person to have such wonderful online friends and I do consider each and everyone of you friends. Thank you so much!

Just a simple card using some pattern (pattern paper is a NBUS) and solid papers, a little gilding wax, gilding flakes and some stacking of the letters. Easy peasy and oh an so simple, plain design. Everything is also cut from snippets from my stash except the card base. I haven't played in any challenges in a very long time, so I am hoping to go over the the Snippet Playground and the NBUS challenge spot.

Thanks for stopping by to see what I've been up to. I hope I've been by to see you too, but if not, I will be soon. Until next time.....

Crafty Hugs,

Beautiful card Brenda, perfect for St Patrick’s Day.

The are one or two ‘Dangerous Website’ messages that pop up when I’m blog visiting. I’ve no idea why this happens, but I know they are genuine crafters blogs. Hope someone can help up you solve this problem. xx

Happy St Patrick's Day to you!
A lovely card for the occasion.

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. Once you’ve finished playing on the swings, meet me and Di up in the Treehouse for a nice mug of hot chocolate (or maybe something stronger?)! xxx

Happy St Patrick's day to you too sweet friend! I love this card with all the tiny rainbows and big golden LUCK and little 4-leaf clover! I agree with your take on all the wonderful friends I've made here in the paper crafting world of blogging. I'd be lost without those good friends I've made along the way and I feel very blessed to have each and every one of them in my life. I hope your day was a lucky one for you and it was spent enjoying all the blessings you've been given! Biggest hugs!
As for those warnings, I get them once in a while, but never from trying to visit a blog, so ??? Maybe try clearing your cache and deleting some cookies would help? Just a suggestion, I really don't know what to do other than googling a fix perhaps? Then you could always call Bret too :) Good luck with that!

Love this card. Simple is the best kind of card. If it is also easy, even better.

I had the same problem for months. The blogger's curse is Google fixing what they perceive to be problems. I changed so many things I can't remember what finally allowed me to comment. I do know I spent hours reading the comments on the problem before I found one that actually worked. If I remember what worked for me I will send it to you.

Love, Hugs and Blessings

Most important things first: your card is darling, and you are the sweetest thing to send us all this sweet message! Thanks so very much - love that rainbow paper, Brenda!

Now. About that message. I was getting that when I allowed the Norton extensions on my search. I like Norton, but sometimes they pick on us bloggers. Try using a different search engine, like Firefox to see if that still happens. If it happens with my blog let me know - perhaps we all need to do a deep cleanse of our cookies?

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend! xx

You made one more St. Patrick's Day card than I did Brenda! LOL! I didn't even get one done up this year. I LOVE yours though and that sentiment says it all. Perfection!
(Oh, and I"m getting that same message on some blogs. I have no idea what's going on, if anything, so I just back out and hope it doesn't come up next time)

Brenda! You made it - we're so thrilled to have you back in the Playground with us. You truly were missed and I did keep an eye on you - especially via Chrissie on YouTube! What a spending enabler she is! Love your St Patrick's Day card. AND you used gilding flakes too - I wonder why? Shame on me - am one quarter Irish via my Granny on my Mum's side, who hailed from Ireland. I should be ashamed - or at least beaten with a bunch of shamrock or have a pint of Guinness thrown over me. In fact, unknowingly - our slow cooker beef casserole last evening, the very day itself, was made by yours truly, using half a can of Guinness.

Please come back soon - Dudley says so as well!

Hugs
Di xx

This is an awesome card, my friend! I feel the same way about you. Love the four leaf clover and the gilded letters! A beautiful and meaningful card! I get that message sometimes too and sometimes it won't let me go ahead with it. I have no idea why?

I didn't make any St. Pat's Day cards this year, Brenda, and Kevin is half Irish so we celebrate! You, however, have made a stunning card! I love the design and that fab combo of colors!

As for the message, I've not gotten it yet. It gets so distressing after a while doesn't it? What harm are lady bloggers (some of us ancient) in the world that people should pick on us this way? I long for the good ol' days! I hope you are keeping well! Love, Auntie

Oops, forgot to say (told you I was ancient!): Thank you for inspiring everyone at NBUS!

Brenda I love your card - simple, elegant, classy and fabulous!
I am also getting more and more of those messages, and I am blaming Norton - I can generally get through, but not for a second time, so you have to make sure your comment is correct first time!
Blessings

A wonderful St. Patrick’s Day card! Love the background, four leaf clover, and gilded letters! Hubby is Irish, so we celebrated a lunch of a reuben sandwich and a boiled dinner with corn beef, potatoes, and carrots! Have a great week!!

Hi Brenda,
thank you so much for your friendship sentiments I feel the same too although I am a very bad blogger at the mo.
Thank you also for your beautiful card it's a stunner and the verse inside is very beautiful.
Such a beautiful way to use up snippets too.

I too get those messages on some sites and as I use Firefox so I to Opera and that lest me comment.
Hope that helps.

Also this new fangle commenting on some bloggs where you have to say you have signed in to google when you have already signed in and it takes you back to the top of the blog a couple of times is a pain.

Lots of craty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.

Hi Brenda, what a lovely card and so true about all our blogging friends. We really are a community. Wouldn’t it be good if we could all meet up? I can’t help with the “dangerous website” problem though . I do get it occasionally, but only on the iPad.

This is such a cool St' Patrick's Day card and no, I wouldn't call it simple or plain at all. It is such an eye catching design and love your inside sentiment!
