A Card and Mugs

Hello my crafty friends, I hope you all are doing well and staying cool. We had a few beautiful, low temps/humidity days, but that has come to an end and now we are back to hot and humid. I will take it for now, will enjoy the pool a bit longer before closing it up.

I have a little simple Father's day card that I cut using my Cricut Joy. The design was already in the design studio so I just cut it out of papers I thought would look nice. Gave them out to the guys in my life that are father's.

I also made mugs for the dad's with HTV vinyl. I also decided since I had made a mug for my son, that I'd better make on for my DIL as I didn't make one for her for Mother's day. Didn't occur to me to make them until Father's day. So made one for her as well. Once again, I just used a file that was in my design studio and using my easy press mini to iron it on.

I want to thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to stop in and visit with me. I hope you enjoyed stopping by! As always your comments are like rays of sunshine in my life and I appreciate that you take the time to leave one. I pray you are keeping safe and those in CA my prayers are with all involved with these fires and the people in the communities effected by these awful fires. My prayers are also with people in the way of their hurricanes, such ruff times right now besides having to deal with COVID too! So prayers going up to all.

Hi Brenda,
I love that card and your wonderful design you have created with your cutting machine.
It is perfect for Father's Day.
I also love the colour card used for it too.
What a super idea the Mugs are and they will be treasured I'm sure.
It has cooled down here thank goddness and we have had some rain at last in my area.
You enjoy your pool for as long as you can.
Lots of crafty love and hugs from my house to yours. Jenny L.

You do some amazing things with that Cricut! What fun gifts you created and I love the card. I did digital cutting in the past but nothing like you do. These were so fun to see!

It's always such a treat for me to see what can do with that Cricut of yours, Brenda!
I'm betting all the recipients of your play day were very happy with your darling gifts! THAT is the perfect sized cup in my view!
Even more hot weather coming your way... enjoy that pool - I'll be thinking of you!

Love the card Brenda, what a great design, the paper looks like a beautiful sea too, clever paring. LOVE your mugs, very thoughtful to make them one each, I'm sure they were thrilled. I'll have to look into the easy press, I didn't know it worked on mugs. I echo your prayers for CA, such awful times there, what is going on in the world with all this wild weather and things happening, not very good times. I think we will all be glad to see the back of 2020.
You keep safe and well
Faith x

That's a great card for any dad and I love the specially designed coffee mugs! Very creative and something to treasure each and every morning as the coffee or tea awakens the senses! How lovely are your fingernails too? I have never had long nails like that in this lifetime and don't know that I'd be able to get much done with them, but they look so pretty! Enjoy these last few moments of summer while they're here. In no time we'll be complaining how cold it is outside LOL

Hi Brenda

What a fantastic card .. .. any Dad would love to receive a card that!

The mugs are brilliant too. What a fabulous idea!

You are so creative!

Hope you are OK and still have some sunshine in your part of the world.

We are on bank holiday weekend .. .. but the weather isn't as nice as promised .. .. but never mind. Still plenty to keep us out of mischief even if the weather is rubbish.

You take care.

Love Jules xx

I love those mugs, Brenda and I'm intrigued that you used an iron press to fix them to the mugs. Perhaps that's where I went wrong when I tried them lol! I really like your card too - the sea paper is a fabulous backdrop to the earth and you are sweetie to recognise all the Dads you know.
I hope you are keeping safe with all the dreadful events in the country right now.

Hugs
Carol xx
