Twofer Challenge

Hello my crafty friends, I hope you are all doing well. Thanks for stopping by.

I wanted to participate in this months Twofer Challenge, missed last months...got my cards ready but never got them posted last month. So trying to get there this month. This month is already getting away from me! Anyway, the challenge for this month is circles or bubbles.

I went with circle dies. I tell you, I'm not good at these challenges, but they sure make you get creative....well sometimes! Here are my two cards using my circle dies.

This one is CAS, it looks better in person than it does here. I like it though.

This one I used the dies to make trees. Well....I tried. It didn't turn out to good. My problem was using a tree trunk/branches red rubber stamp. I am not good with red rubber stamps at all. I can't see where I'm stamping. Yes, I probably should have used my Misti, but I didn't. So my trees are wonky. lol Oh well that is the way it goes and it is what it is.

As always I thank you for stopping by. I will be by to see you soon too. Just know you are very appreciated! It is a very nice day today, low temps, low dew points almost to a point that the air coming in the window is to concentrated making it feel cool. Hot, humid weather coming for the end of the week though, so I will enjoy not having to run air conditioners!

Crafty hugs,

Two brilliant cards Brenda, very creative ways of using the circle dies. Love the CAS design of your first card. A clever way of using the dies to make the trees and they're not wonky, they look natural! xx

You certainly got creative with the circle dies, Brenda and I love those cute trees and the sweet sentiment. I'm so pleased to see you back, safe and sound and I'm awed by how creative you've been with the vinyl and other projects. We are still under lockdown and I fluctuate between feeling stir crazy and being nervous about going out lol! No pleasing me!

Take care and I'll keep smiling at the thought of you in your pool.

Hugs

Oh gosh, I love your little trees!! Love the piece of "ground" they're sitting on too - that's a great CAS design and so clever using circles! Love the die cut line of circles too with dsp inside! Your thought process led you to a great twofer entry! I'm with you on this fabulous weather! It couldn't be more perfect and feels more like early October than spring! Enjoy before it's gone!

These are such great designs, Brenda. The little circles are terrific but I absolutely LOVE those trees. Trees are supposed to be wonky. No tree is perfect. Love that idea! That’s what I call creative. Great take on the challenge.

I really am not good with this challenge either, Brenda - but I will tell you this: I see two cards, made with the same die set, using fabulous papers [love the happy HI paper especially!] and who wouldn't be so much happier, and lifted up by knowing you are thinking of them?
Well done, you! You trees are swaying in the wind, my friend! xo

Hi Brenda. Well, I'm doing my very best to get back into some sort of swing, but you know all too well how that goes. But lets talk about your cards, shall we?! I like the tree card very much. I saw it in the gallery and that was my first thought even before I knew who made them!! Nothing in nature is straight anyway, so I'm thinking these are just right trees, and btw...what a great idea!! Out of the box, and very cool. And your "hi" card has captured my attention completely. Love those circles, and that awesome paper you've used behind it; so Art Deco looking! I do love CAS cards, too. So glad to see you in the gallery here at The Twofer Challenge. Enjoy your week. xo Bev

Our trees have looked just like this lately with all the rain and wind! LOL, I wish I could get a nickel for every time I don't stamp straight. I'd be rich! But I love these trees and how creative they are! I wouldn't have thought to use the circles for the trees but it certainly works well! Love the row of circles with the sweet hi too! You do great with these Twofer cards, Brenda!

YAY, good to see you made it this month, Brenda, and I love that this challenge makes you think ~ it does that to me, too! I think your two designs are awesome! I like the CASlicious way you bordered your circles around two sides of your hello card and I love the pretty pp you chose for the background! Also I love the clever way you made tree tops out of circular pops of pp and added polkie-dotted grass to ground them. No worries about the trees not being straight ... I'm looking out the window at leaning trees in my own yard so you've made them very realistic! Thank you so much for playing in Twofer Card Challenge #28! Keep well! Hugs, Darnell

Your cards are awesome, Brenda! This is such a fun challenge and I'm glad you got to play along this month. Your first card is so sweet with those die-cut circles and pretty patterned paper backing. A lovely card that you could use for any occasion. Your trees are fun. They are whimsical, so the trunks not being perfect aren't noticeable. The tree tops looks great with the layers. Very creative and fun cards Brenda! xx

That first CAS card is so deliciously graphic and geometric, Brenda ... making the sentiment circle bigger than the others really draws the eye! What a brilliant idea to turn the circles into leafy tree canopies ... the pp's you used are just perfect for them ... such a great, whimsical look! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

Hi Brenda

Here at last!!!

I have had a hectic few weeks here but am hoping things are going to calm down a little once I hit this weekend .. .. .. but we shall see!! LOL!!!

Loving your cards .. .. great use of your circles and very cleverly thought out.

I particularly love the trees and the papers you have used.

Trees don't always grow straight Brenda .. .. .. there are some near us that are at a very strange angle .. .. for some reason LOL!!

Hope you had a good weekend.

Love Jules xx

If you could see the tree across the street from me, you would be happy with your trees! They look great and a fun way to use your circles. I really like the pattern paper behind the openings and a cute way to do the Twofer.

What a fun twofer, Brenda! I love the papers you chose on your first card and your CAS design feels like the circles lead right to the "hi" sentiment! Your trees are great! Again, I love the papers you used for the leaves, and also the grass! Thanks for joining in the fun with us at the Twofer Card Challenge!
