Let's Bake a Birthday!

Hello my crafty friends, I hope your Saturday evening is going well. I know I've been MIA in keeping up with my comments and with posting. I have a good reason.....at least I hope it's a good reason. I've been keeping very busy with a new puppy. What?!!! Yes, Bret decided he wanted a puppy and of course who do you think needs to care for it while Bret is at work? Yep, me. So between babysitting my granddaughter here and there and training a new puppy, I am running ragged. Here is the new little girl, her name is Kahlua. Savannah is great with her so that is a good thing!

This new little girl chews on Savannah's tail, pulls out Savannah's undercoat all over the floor and takes Savannah's bones away from her and Savannah just lets her. Then when Savannah has had enough, Savannah will get up on the couch as little Kahlua can't get up there....yet. They are so funny together and I laugh so hard sometimes. But they are also exhausting. Especially this little girl-she is fast, she is a puppy and she finds all kinds of trouble when you aren't looking! lol So I have to keep my eye on her at all times. I will be glad when she is potty trained as well!!!!  Anyway, she is cuteness overload isn't she?!

I do have some old cards that I never posted about. They all have been mailed out long ago, so thought I would share them tonight. I do have some more to share and will share the others at a later date. These cards are all baking birthday cards. I thought they turned out pretty cute, but want to make some in CAS style at a later date. As always the recipe will be at the bottom of the post.

If you stuck with me this far, thank you! Your comments always bring sunshine into my rainy days and yes it is still raining here. Everyday just about it. Never saw this much rain during the summer before. Anyway, I will be around to your blogs soon if I haven't been yet. I'm trying to keep up here and there, but it is hard sometimes with the new pup. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Congrats on the newest family member. She's adorable and so very cute! She will probably grow bigger than Savannah! Best wishes with her, give her a big hug for me :) Love all those cute kitchen-themed cards with circles too! Each one is perfect, especially for someone who spends a lot of time in her kitchen! Great job!

No need for apologies Brenda my friend! I know exactly what life is like . . . it gets so busy! The puppy is adorable, but I know they are a lot of hard work! Just as you have got Savannah trained too 😏 Beautiful pictures and fantastic cards too! Have a lovely weekend! Hazel xx

Brenda your cards are sweet, and delicious! So thanks for sharing them - I know your friends loved receiving them.
Now let's talk about that pup - what kind is she? She looks like she could grow to look like that darling NANA from Peter Pan! Savannah is wonderful with her, and look how gorgeous she is!
Thanks for keeping us posted - I'm betting it is gloriously green there!

A Puppy, oh! I want her! Such a cutie and Savannah lets her do everything? for the time being I suppose, until she grows a little then she will put her in her place, isn't that what usually happens? LOL. Your cards are just wonderful, so different but all on the theme. Fabulous makes Brenda. Hope you have a little "me" time soon.

These birthday cards are such fun, Brenda! Love the stitched circles and the fun sentiments! Your new "baby" is adorable and I'm sure she is keeping you hopping! It's good that Savannah is a good "big sister".

So glad the dogs get on well - but you must be soooooooo busy!!!
Love your cards, they are a great selection. We have had a wet winter here, so it was wonderful to have a 'dry' and sunny week last week. My gardens are looking the better for it!

Your cards are super cute and had a chuckle when you said that the 'recipes' where at the bottom of the post....LOL x
Kahlua is adorable and so enjoyed reading your post. It is amazing how Kahlua and Savannah get on so well. It won't be long before the little one will be able to get up on the coach and then there will be no escape for Savannah x. I bet you are exhausted but hey the pay back must be huge. Thank you so much for sharing these adorable, cute and fabulous photos with us....Hope the potty training comes soon for you ....LOL x.

Simply adorable baked card, Brenda, and I'm happy to say I'm the proud owner of one of them! Thank you again! They are super cute, but, c'mon, no where near as cute as that little Kahlua with Savannah. Only by a hair, I have to say my favorite is the one where Kahlua is whispering in Savannah's ear. Oh my gosh, too precious all of them! Your granddaughter must love that you have two now!! Enjoy! Hugs, Auntie Darnell

The puppy is so adorable and together they are the sweetest. I know a puppy is a lot of work but she will be so worth it. I can't imagine if I didn't have Molly. Your baking cards are so cute. They make my mouth water!
