With Sympathy

Hello crafty friends, hope you are having a relaxing Sunday. I made a little resolution to myself to make more than one card when I am making cards. So my challenge is to make at least 2 cards, but would prefer to make 4, assembly line style to place in my stash. I didn't make 4 of these cards, but did make 2. So I'm pretty happy about that, but unfortunately I will be using one of them. But that's ok, cause I made two and the other one can go into my stash. Since the passing of my beloved husband, I have found this saying and I just love it because one night early after his passing, my husband's cousins came over and we got in the hot tub. While sitting and talking, I see a shooting star. No one seen it but me. Then I switched seats and saw another shooting star! No one but me saw it again. Next thing I knew there went another shooting star for the 3rd time. You guess it, I was the only one who saw it. I believe my beloved was sending me a message, then I found this saying and fell in love with it as it seem to have meaning to me. They have angels with this saying on the angel and I plan on getting one for my bedroom because it just reminds me of this time when I saw the 3 shooting stars. You might be asking why I saw 3 shooting stars. Well, Dwayne always gave me 3 kisses before leaving the house, whether he was going up to the farm, off to work or where ever. It was always 3 kisses, so I think he sent me the 3 shooting stars! Yes, that was my amazing husband....

Again I used Mojo Monday Sketch 431 for this card as well. Thanks so much for taking time out of  your day to visit me. I truly appreciate you visit and your comments as well. You certainly make my day brighter for me!! Crafty hugs, Brenda

I loved hearing your story of the shooting stars, and I can see why you were compelled to create this card! It's such a heart-warming thought to know our loved ones are always with us in spirit! The saying inside is beautiful, and the card is so pretty with those 3 stars representing 3 kisses both outside and inside the card! I love how your experience motivated you to create this card :)

I liked hearing about the shooting stars (and happen to have this stamp from long ago, and sadly have had to use it more than I'd like). I liked your memories of why the 3 stars had such meaning for you too. Good for you at keeping your resolve to make at least 2 cards when you're in the craft room. I should follow this myself! And this one turned out very pretty too. I like the design layout, the pretty papers. Love the way you've tied in the star & cloud symbology
with the inner verse. It's a lovely and creative card, TFS &Hugs

Beautiful card Brenda... and such a sweet story of the shooting stars... its probably your hubby 100% sending you his love in the form of threes... he's amazing for sure! Glad you had that experience... he knows you needed some type of assurance that he is with you and he gave it to you... embrace that and continue to talk to him every day!
Hugs,

This is the most wonderful, inspiring story of true love that never leaves. I'm so happy you heard from Dwayne in your own special language. Sending three shooting stars is so beautiful. That is a beautiful sentiment and so perfect for a sympathy card.

I love that sediment, too, Brenda, and I have tears over your sweet sharing of the shooting stars and Dwayne's three kisses! How blessed you were to have been loved by that man and now have all those memories in your heart and head that so many women only dream of having! And even after death he is still always with you in so many ways! It makes my heart smile to think of it! Enjoy your day! Hugs, Auntie Darnell

wonderful. I believe it is him. Whenever I see a hummingbird come to visit while I am in the yard, I believe it is my mom visiting. I usually talk to it out loud too.
