We Click! BBTB2 Challenge

Hello my crafty friends, Happy New Year!!!  Sorry I haven't did a post in so long. I took time off to do the holidays with my family. It was such a wonderful and fun holiday. I hope you all made wonderful memories with your families too. Can you believe we are in a new year?!! Me either! lol I'm looking forward to a better year for hubby-so my fingers and toes are crossed and my prayers go up constantly for him.

Since it is the first Monday of the month, it is time for a new challenge for BBTB2 for the New Year and time for me to get back into the swing of things. Melanie is our sweet and talented host this week and she chose for use to use our favorite Cricut cut. Talk about a challenge!!! There are just way to many fabulous Cricut cuts and I couldn't choose. So I went with just using a cartridge, as I don't have a favorite cut or favorite cart because I love them all. So just before Christmas I got the CTMH Artfully Sent cartridge and it is a NBUS for me so I decided to use that one. I have to say that the handbook to this cart had me quite confused at first. So I went over to Pinterest and did a little search, watch a few video's and was ready to start making a card. So this card is a Pinterest inspired card. Nothing fancy about this card, just a plain jane one. I cut a card under the "sentiment" second of the handbook out of pattern paper, then I backed my "cut outs" with black and red papers. Using my Cuttlebug, I cut out the photo corners in red and black, laying them so that the red made a shadow. I added 3 sequins to the front and that was it. Put my inside mats in and used the positive camera cut on the inside of my card. I didn't put in a sentiment yet because I'm not sure what I am going to use. There you go, an easy peasy 7 x 5 done pretty fast. So come on in and join us on this challenge and lets see what is your favorite die cut. Our rules are simple and you will find them on the side bar over at BBTB2. My design team sisters have more inspiration for you, so check them out too at BBTB2

As always thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit my little ole blog. Your comments mean the world to me as does your visit. Crafty hugs, Brenda

Nicely done both inside and out, Brenda. The camera is so cute. I know what you mean about Cricut. I don't really have a favorite. I love whatever I use at the time. I wish you and your family a blessed New Year.

Doesn't look or sound easy to me, but I know you handle that Cricut like a pro...so I'll accept what you say!!! It's very pretty and could be for either gender, so I like that very much. I loved your idea of the camera with the sentiment (I'd have been clueless about how to use that camera image..but it's darling the way you did it). Love the filigree corners and the bold pattern on the dp with the forest green complimenting. Great card to start the New Year. Hugs, TFS & Happy New Year too. Same prayers going up for ya'll.

oh, this is really a cute card Brenda! I love that little camera with the heart in the center, and the sentiment has Valentine ideas rolling through my head now :) The plaid paper is neat and so are those tiny red hearts scattered about on the inside and outside! I'm glad you had a nice holiday time with your family too :) Keep that shovel handy - we're probably going to need it tomorrow :)

Great card for valentines or for someone who loves photography. Yes it's too hard to pick a favorite cut, maybe if I did have to choose one, it's might be a square or rectangle!!!

I hope the new year brings good things for you hubby's health too! Hope you had a fabulous holiday with your family! Lucky you, to get a new cartridge-I'm quite interested in this one and no one I know has it yet. I've been browsing Pinterest too for inspiration-what did we do before it? Of course, I probably also waste an enormous amount of time browsing….the funniest part is when I see something pinned that I made originally-still gives me a thrill!

Oh Brenda - I almost laughed until I cried at your comment about the PB sticker card! Shut the front door indeed :) Do you realise how very English that sounds? :)

Love this card and hope to see you in the playground really soon. I could be the one bent over in the corner over a bucket if this gastric flu doesn't clear soon! But, I do have quite an imposing backside :))

Love and hugs

Hello, wonderful smile-making, spirit-lifting Brenda! How wonderful to re-read your post today (slow in commenting, but when it comes to gazing and admiring, I'm quick on the draw!), and delight - for the umpteenth time - at your oh-so-charming card! The colours, the layout, the design and, of course, that sweet camera: a winning combination! Whoever receives this will be happy dancing wildly! Love this immensely! Thank you for all your hugs, prayers and love sent my way recently! If you've been feeling a bit 'off kilter' of late, that's just me, leaning on your for support. And if your ears are burning, that's me chatting up a storm with my mom, telling her how incredibly remarkable, special and 'genuine' you are! My wish for you, for 2015, is that YOUR wishes come true! Sending a semi-trailer filled with hugs your way!
