A Masculine Card & A Sympathy Card

Hello my crafty friends! I'm not sure where the months are going, but they sure are zipping by fast. Hope you all are having a great end of the summer season/Labor Day!! We had a quiet Monday, but I sat around a fire Sunday night and had a S'more. Was a beautiful crisp evening, perfect for a fire.

I have a masculine card to share today. I need to work on my ink blending, I think it looks good until I see a photo of it and then realize it doesn't look as good as I though. lol Still, I thought the card came out decent and it is good for a guy.

My second card is a sympathy card. I did my sentiment on the Cricut (which I had seen on Pinterest I think) and printed it onto my card panel. I wish I had used a few different greens for with my stencil, but I didn't. Will try different colors of greens on the next one as I made a few panels with this sentiment on it.

So that is it for me. I want to thank you for stopping by and visiting a spell with me. I appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedule to stop by as I know we are all busy. Especially in the summer months. I enjoy your comments and they bring me much joy and sunshine. I will be stopping by to visit you as well very soon!

Your sky is lovely and the scene is wonderful for a masculine card. I love ink blending, especially now that there are brushes. I could never do it well with sponges or blending tools. You are so good with your Cricut and that sentiment is wonderful. The ferns look great too. Hard to believe it is time to enjoy a fire in these cooler days.

I'd have loved to share a s'more with you by that fire, Brenda! Especially if we had this gorgeous twilight sky to view... you've blended it beautifully!
I love the varied shades of the same green on these gorgeous ferns, my friend! xx

You do such a beautiful job of design! I really need to come for Cricut lessons to see if I can't live without one! Love both cards and love the sentiments you created too. Beautifully done!

Lovely cards Brenda - life has been busy for me as I am sorting and purging and packing as I am both moving and downsizing... quite a marathon. It's come to a grinding halt at the moment as I had a carpel tunnel release today - no heavy lifting for four weeks!!
Stay safe
Blessings

The ink blending on the masculine looks great Brenda and I particularly love the colour combination. The black silhouette die cuts and the circle make this card a very special and creative masculine card x.
Your sympathy card is so atmospheric and the light tone of the green is perfect and so wispy, delicate and just gorgeous x.
Yes time zipping by my end too....x

That evening sky ink blending looks just like our evening skies here, Brenda ... so I'd say it was pretty near perfectly done! How dramatic and bold those silhouettes are against it ... a fabulous masculine card! Your condolence card is lovely ... delicate and soft ... and I think the single green (rather than different ones) is just right for such a card ... simple and understated! Hugs, Anita :)

Two AMAZING cards Brenda! I LOVE how you've blended the sky for your first card. Not easy to blend those colours --- you did great work! LOVE it with the black silhouettes. Gorgeous!

Your second card ... WOW! Talk about the most perfect sympathy card I've ever seen. Love the gorgeous stenciled ferns in the soft greens. So beautiful and ethereal looking. Wonderful sentiment.

A s'more by the fire sounds good Brenda, two s'mores would be even better. :) Love, Loll
