Look Who's One

Hello my crafty friends, hope your Sunday is a good one. I can't believe that we are in November with December being just around the corner. Where did 2016 go?! I sure hope that 2017 will be a better year for my youngest son and I. As if it wasn't enough for Bret to lose his good friend and roommate, we lost my MIL, Bret's grandmother yesterday as well. I know he is getting his fill of funerals lately! But such as it is, we move on as best as we can.

I have a little CAS card for you today, or at least I think it is CAS. Not always sure about that, but it seems CAS to me. lol We had my youngest granddaughter's first birthday party last weekend to go to and this is the card I made for her. Nothing elaborate, but I thought it turned out pretty cute. I was keeping in theme with the farm for my dearly departed husband, thus the little cow. I used my Cricut to write the "look who's one".  Recipe below the photo.

As always thank you for stopping by and visiting a spell. It always brings a huge smile on my face and your comments always bring sunshine to my day!

It has been a really long time since I played over at the Snippets Playground, so I'm taking my card using my snippets over to play along with these fabulous ladies. Di always makes sure we play along nicely, but with women like these, there is no problem playing nicely! You ought to come and join in sometime!!!!

Crafty hugs,

Oh dear Brenda, what a wonderful card, I love the style you've used, CAS indeed, and so perfect for a first birthday. We're having a storm just now with a bit of hail in it, as long as they stay small :) I'm on a mobile device wouldn't use my computer.... we need the rain so its a blessing.
So very sorry to hear of another passing in your family, I had a dear sister in Lord and friend go at the weekend too, but she was very ready to go.
I pray Gods comfort on your hearts and also Brett's that you might grow closer to our dear Saviour through this ... "surely He has carried our grief and born our sorrow and in all our afflictions, He was afflicted. "
Hugs and prayers,

Sorry to hear there is another family loss, you've had a year, that's for sure. On to happier things: the card is adorable, and perfect for a one year old. She will LOVE this little cow, and it's CAS enough to me. Great that you got to use some snippets and this one has lots of style, and just the right amount of color & fun to grab the attention of a big one year old! Hope she has just a grand day. Big hugs, TFS - MM
