Christmas Cards

Hello friends, I have a few Christmas cards to share today.

First one uses a stencil from Simon Hurley. I bought a few crafty things this year, this was one. I thought these trees were so sweet/artsy and perfect for a CAS Christmas card. I made 4 in three colors. Stenciled my little trees on and then place them on a mirror gold card.

Close up of the pink one, I didn't capture the shine of the gold paste, but in real  life it has a nice shine to it.

I saw a card similar to this one on Pinterest and I love the simplicity of it. Mine is a little different, but not by much. So I used what embossing folder and snowflake die I had and made it. My regret....I wish I had stamped the sentiment in a Kraft colored ink instead of black. But it is said that a little black adds a bit of elegance, so I'm sticking with that. I made a few of these as well.

That's it from me today. Thanks for stopping by, it is always appreciated.

Crafty hugs,

Card Recipe:

Tree cards:
Simon Hurley: Stencil, Lunar Paste in Gold Rush
DO's in Saltwater Taffy and Prize Ribbon for the blue (wish I would have used a lighter blue) and pink trees and sentiments

Altenew-Sentiment is from Festive Poinsettia
Mirror card from my stash

Snowflake card:
Stampin Up: embossing folder
Simon Says Stamps & Dies: Nadine Snowflake
Hero Arts monthly kit from a few years ago-for the sentiment

Brenda, these are SO PRETTY! I love the stenciled trees and that card with the snowflakes embossed is beautiful. I even think I have that embossing folder so may have to get it out and give it a go too. I think the sentiment stamped in black is fine. It stands out nicely!

My DW loves this kind of card creating for Christmas. It makes it easy to get a lot of cards done for the holidays and yet still make each one different enough to be unique. The snowflake card is gorgeous. Black does elevate the elegance of the card. The card itself is elegant.

Love, Hugs and Blessings

OH! Brenda, I LOVE your quirky trees, love the colours you used and the gold paste, the gold border is just perfect for them too. Your snowflake card? it is also gorgeous. The embossing and the die snowflake are stunning, as for the sentiment? It's always good to add a little elegance :)

'sweet/artsy' and totally adorable, Brenda! I haven't added any Simon Hurley to my collection YET! These are as cute as they can be!
Of course, any card with a little embossing has my attention - a beautiful CAS design with your own special touch!

Beautiful pastel trees all decorated and ready for the holidays. The gold frame dresses them up so elegantly. The snowflake card is gorgeous. I like the gold and white and what a lovely embossing folder that it.
