First one uses a stencil from Simon Hurley. I bought a few crafty things this year, this was one. I thought these trees were so sweet/artsy and perfect for a CAS Christmas card. I made 4 in three colors. Stenciled my little trees on and then place them on a mirror gold card.
Close up of the pink one, I didn't capture the shine of the gold paste, but in real life it has a nice shine to it.
I saw a card similar to this one on Pinterest and I love the simplicity of it. Mine is a little different, but not by much. So I used what embossing folder and snowflake die I had and made it. My regret....I wish I had stamped the sentiment in a Kraft colored ink instead of black. But it is said that a little black adds a bit of elegance, so I'm sticking with that. I made a few of these as well.
That's it from me today. Thanks for stopping by, it is always appreciated.

Brenda, these are SO PRETTY! I love the stenciled trees and that card with the snowflakes embossed is beautiful. I even think I have that embossing folder so may have to get it out and give it a go too. I think the sentiment stamped in black is fine. It stands out nicely!

Super Christmas cards, Brenda. I love the artsy trees on the first cards and your last card is just beautiful. xx
ReplyDeleteMy DW loves this kind of card creating for Christmas. It makes it easy to get a lot of cards done for the holidays and yet still make each one different enough to be unique. The snowflake card is gorgeous. Black does elevate the elegance of the card. The card itself is elegant.
