I did stay a little crafty and wanted to share with you what I was up to. I am hoping to start to get back to visiting/commenting with you all very soon. So don't lose to much faith in me yet. Hopefully the dogs and I will find our groove, especially on really hot days as I don't take them out for long then.
I got a little vinyl happy and went around and applied vinyl to a lot of stuff. The microwave was first.
The last coach gift for my Nephew to give out when he can. They loved it.
A vinyl sign for patriotic holidays
A birthday gift I made using vinyl for Dwayne's cousin
Since we were staying home anyway, I had to add vinyl to my little house I got in Waco, TX
My portable charger got monogrammed on the front and back
My bill fold got it too because I always opened it the wrong way, now I know what's the front
My brother's birthday card
My Nephew's graduation banner for the drive by graduation the school had
Kahlua and Savannah had birthdays, Kahlua first in April and then Savannah in June. This is the doggie cake I made for each of them. Maverick will get one in Aug. They all loved it except Maverick didn't like the "icing" which was yogurt and peanut butter. He loves peanut butter but I guess not the yogurt. lol The girls loved the icing.
Kahlua chowing down on her cake
Savannah on her birthday, didn't take a photo of her eating her cake
So that is what I've been up too. Sorry it took me so long to even up date everyone as to where I've been. Life is crazy anyway and Covid didn't help any. We go green this Friday and as much as I'm looking forward to it, it makes me nervous too. But I've been to the pool store and the grocery store for the first time since March. Oh and my nephew's graduation and on Memorial weekend, sat around a fire and had a s'more at Dwayne's cousins. It was nice to leave the house!!! Thanks for stopping by and seeing what I've been up too. I should be by to see you too over this week. As always I so appreciate each and every one of you and I thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to stop by my neck of the woods. Come take a dip with me in the pool when you get a chance!
Crafty hugs,

It's always great to see you back in Blogland, Brenda, and hear what you've been doing. You really did go to town with your vinyl signs and every one looks great, some of them practical, too, like your wallet! Thanks for sharing pictures of the "kids!" Take care and keep safe as you start to move about the cabin!! Hugs, Auntie Darnell
ReplyDeleteWow! Lots of fun projects Brenda. You've been keeping yourself busy with the dogs, but still managed to make a lot of cool things! Vinyl is fun! And the card you made for your brother is awesome.
ReplyDeleteTake care, stay save, and get back to card making when it's right for you!
xx
Great to see you, Brenda ... and to hear you're well and staying safe. You've sure been busy ... and you've even managed to fit in some craft projects! They're fabulous ... so creative and professional ... a delicious way to personalise all kinds of items, especially the gifts! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda, nice to see you blogging again and glad you’re keeping safe and well. My you have been busy with the vinyl! They all look great!
ReplyDeleteHi dearest pal, Brenda, you bless my socks off you do, with your lovey chatty posts. 😁😉
ReplyDeleteI really wish I could drop in and have a cuppa,a chinwag together, and maybe craft and some prayer to finish off! Doesn’t that sound great? I overnighted in Houston TX when there in 2018, and flew out next day to Hawaii, but guess you’re a fair away from there? That’s when saw dear friend in Nth Florida. Loved visiting but oh it was hot, I missed my walks so much. It’s funny you get way hotter than we do here where I live. Or they did there.
Your dogs are so spoilt and handsome what great cake, and love your silhouette card. The vinyl makes were very clever .. very thoughtful too.
Am sure going out and about will just be fine as long as folks do right thing, is easy hand sanitiser and socially distance .. if they don’t then there maybe issues. Praying dear friend all goes well.
Thanks for being a blessing, and may God bless you too, especially in these uncertain days. He is a sure Rock to those who trust in Him! Praying you’re all kept well too!
Giant prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x 😊

You are a master with that Cricut, Brenda! What a great job you did on these fabulous projects. How fun that must be! These are wonderfully creative and original1. I bet the recipients just loved them!
ReplyDeleteIt's good to catch up with you, Brenda! I'm glad all is well there. Hopefully opening up and getting out and about more won't put us back to stay at home! Love your vinyl sayings. What a fun idea! Stay well and enjoy the pool!
ReplyDeleteYou've been SUPER busy - and I love it all!!! All the vinyl things look great. Love your card too! Oh, and can't forget the cake and pups! I'm with Maverick - no yogurt here either! Good to see you back.
ReplyDeleteLynn
So great to see this post, Brenda! I love all the things you are making with vinyl! So much fun!!! Thanks for the update! xoxo
ReplyDeleteEven though you haven't been online you have been busy. All of these things are great, Brenda. I love the vinyl, especially on your billfold. I always unzip my purse facing the wrong way so I know what you mean. That doggie cake is wonderful. Sounds like they had a good birthday and thanks for the pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreat to see you back posting again Brenda. You've certainly been busy with all your crafty creations. Love the doggie cake too! Enjoy your pool, I wish I live nearer to go for a swim too. xx
ReplyDeleteHi Brenda
ReplyDeleteGosh you have been a busy girlie!
Loving all the vinyl work and the dogs looked like they had good birthdays. Bet the cake went down well with them.
Pleased you are keeping OK. Hope your pool is soon sorted so you can have a good cooling down session in there.
Love Jules xx
Wow, you are great with cutting vinyl! I have a cricut and a sillhouette and have never used either one! It is so embarrasing. I plan to learn pay a young lady to teach me once this social distancing is all over.
ReplyDeleteBut I think we n eed a vaccine first.
We are still social distancing here. I think it is slightly different depending on where you are from. We are in the high risk group, so we just stay home and wait it out.
Al picks up the groceries at the drive up to the store pick up area. He wears a mask and gloves. That is the extent of our ventures! It sure is boring though!!!
Loving all your vinyl projects Brenda - your monogram is very classy!
ReplyDeleteWere are down to level one here - which basically means life as normal, but with closed borders... anyone entering the country must self-isolate/quarantine for 14 days. For all that I am not rushing out - rather feeling free to visit family and a few friends, and so my own shopping
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
You have been vinyl-busy for sure! I've never tried using vinyl, but your projects are all great! I'm especially fond of the way you monogrammed your wallet! Great pics of your fur babies and what a cute woofday cake for them you made! I'm glad to know you're well and keeping busy in spite of things, and it's great to hear from you and see your projects once again! Sending hugs and I'd love to take a dip in that pool as it's gettin' hotter and hotter these days :)
ReplyDeleteOH! My goodness Brenda, I absolutely LOVE your projects, I love your microwave vinyl, must look at doing that. They are aLL such GREAT ideas. The doggy cake looks good enough to eat. LOL. As for taking a dip in the pool, I would LOVE it, I have so much to learn from you.
ReplyDeleteTake care
Faith x
