Watercolor

Hello my crafty friends, I hope today finds you all well and enjoying the season. I have a pinterest inspired card for you today. I made two and even though they look identical the water coloring isn't quite identical. I so love how these cards came out! I just think they are so colorful and pretty. And it isn't often I like many of my cards! I used distress inks to watercolor with by swishing them on a stamp block and picking up with my water brush, adding extra water from the brush when needed. Die cut my butterflies and added a sentiment and called it done! Just a simple card. Another edit: Forgot to say that this card design wasn't my idea, I found it on Pinterest!!! So sorry, some days I just don't have a brain in my head!

    Yes, I'd be extremely pleased with both of these Brenda! Just BEAUTIFUL!!! Love all those bright colors too.

    Lovely cards Brenda, love the watercoloured backgrounds. - I know what you mean about the mixed media - I entered a card in a challenge recently and didn't realize it was a mixed media challenge, and yet got such a wonderful comment about the great use of mixed media :-)

    So good to see you doing more cards now. This is a perfect look for the CAS Mixup, and the smooshing watercolor with the contrasting colors of these butterflies is just gorgeous! Like the smoosh colors in each one. Very artsy. Good job You! TFS & Big hugs.

    Oh my stars! Your water-colouring is spectacular! Fresh, vibrant, beautifully blended (unlike my epic disasters! Darn water-colouring!) and the perfect background for the oh-so-pretty butterflies! Swooning!! The font on the sentiment is such fun, too! Lovin' this oodles!
