Hello crafty friends, I'm back with the second part of my post. This post is for Cardz TV Gallery, where you can find new projects everyday but Sunday. I've really not been in a crafty mood since my husband passed, but I am doing my holiday cards for my grandchildren and nephews. So today, I have some St. Patty's day cards for you using one of Mary's sketch's, you can find it here. I changed up the orientation on the sketch for some, it gives me cards that are all different, even though I used the same pattern papers and sketch. I used the print and cut feature to my Explore for my pattern papers and some of my images. The only images I didn't do a print and cut was the top hat and the child silhouette. For those I used some snippets of left overs. So I am going to jump across the pond to play at the Snippet's Playground. To see close up's of each card go to my blog. Mary's St. Patrick's day stamp set was perfect for my cards because these kids are my pot of gold in life! They are a pure joy in my life, my husband's as well-he sure loved all his grandchildren. So I still sign his name to their cards to keep his memory alive for them. I hope I've inspired you to make some cards for the people you love and remember Mary has the perfect sentiments for any card on her stamp sets!

ReplyDeleteSince I'm late to the party, I'm just going to LOVE them ALL, Brenda! What a darling set of cards that are going to be loved, I am sure of it - more sure than I am of that pot o' gold! xx

Hi, Brenda. I love these cards. They are happy! I love it when you feel you can create. So glad your foot is better. I'm always getting fussed at by hubby and boys for the "not so smart" things I do. (they are usually right) I think it has to do with being short. We always have to find our own way to do things to make it work for us. I think we are pretty creative. lol
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful selection of St. Patrick's Day cards from both posts, Brenda! Fabulous sentiments too!
ReplyDeleteLove these cards :) The colors are perfect and they all look great in their own way too :) Hugs my friend, a nice way to send them is from both of you. Hugs and prayers my friend, Tina

These are so very cute Brenda perfect for spring and for St Patrick's Day. Thank you sweetheart for the lovely comments on my blog. I would love to see what Serendipity Corn looks like, in fact I will do a Google next to find out. Sounds awfully pretty and perfection, I love corn so much, on the cob, pop corn, corn as a vegetable: just yummy! Karen xx
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your foot is doing a little better. Thank goodness!
ReplyDeleteYour cards are so fun! I did not make any St Paddy's Day cards...my bad as DH's grandpa was born on st paddy's Day...born in Ireland, I might add. Of course his name was Patrick...lol
I have never done any ST Patrick's cards...but certainly should. Yours look great...bet they were loved.
I love them all! Gotta love the Leprechaun! Great job with the paper piecing. I know your grandchildren and nephews loved them. I know what you mean about not feeling crafty when someone passes. My dad has been gone a year and I still struggle. Big hugs to you my friend. You are in my prayers.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Laura
Wow, what a treasure of cards you've made using some papers & images. This is a wonderful set for the St Pat's Day, and I know the kids are gonna love them. Love how you changed the basic design up with the different motifs and once again, you're amazing with that Cricut & your skills. I'm so glad you used up some snippets and jumped over the pond to visit at the Playground. Big hugs, TFS & Have a good week.
ReplyDeleteMore fabulous St Patrick's Day cards, Brenda ... such fun images amid the DP colour blocking! Bet these went down a storm with your family! Hugs & Prayers, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteYou were on a roll with your St. Patrick's day cards! These are all just as cute as the ones you posted earlier! I hope your green day went well! I'm sure you're just as happy as I am that the snow skipped right on past us.......whew!!
