CAS Christmas Challenge

Hello crafty friends, I hope this has been a great week for everyone! It's been a beautiful week here-sunny and in the high 60's. I can live with that! Today we are to reach 73, even better! So the dogs and I have been spending some time outside. So good to get out of the house cause I know the temps will drop back down to normal once again for a bit. Spring is soon here though and I'm ready for it! Ready for the time change this weekend too.

Since this month is already marching on, thought I'd better get my card done and posted for the CAS Christmas Challenge. This month they are looking for the colors of red, white and kraft. This card looked so much better in my head. But it is what it is and they are made, so I'm going with it. Originally I wanted to use branches to hang my ornament from, but wasn't really liking how it was looking. So instead went with the flourish. Not sure I like that a whole lot better, but is better than the small branches I had. So this is how it turned out, again it looked better in my head. lol I embossed the ornament with clear embossing powder and used white embossing powder for the flourish.

Made 4 for my Christmas card stash.

Thank you for stopping by and visiting me, I know you are busy so it means a great deal to me that you stopped by. As always your comments make my day! Stay healthy, get those vaccines when available and keep wearing your mask when out and about. We can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so we want to keep moving forward to get to normal once again.

Crafty hugs,

  1. I love this ornament and the flourish looks great. It is wonderful to be outside in the warm weather and sunshine. We've had it too but today is rain and yesterday was so windy. Won't be long now until great weather everyday and that we can all get back out and about

Praying hard you keep well sis, some folks have had really bad reactions to Moderna and the other drugs they're using too. It's a really deep concern.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

  5. Your cards are beautiful! We have been having temps in the upper 70's and low 80's. Hope it stays like that. I don't like the cold weather. And I am so looking forward to the time change.

  7. I love your bauble, what a wonderful stamp, love the red in it and the background layer, love it with the Kraft, the flourish is perfect in white matching the white layer. I think you did a great job and beautiful too. AND more for the craft stash, excellent. As for the weather gale force winds, rain, hailstones, sun, feels quite mild, but the wind is cold. Apart from all that there have been bright occasions in the day hahaha.

    Keep safe my friend
    Faith x
