I am sharing the cards I made for the Twofer Challenge back in May, but never got them posted. I believe the challenge was flowers since my cards have flowers. lol
I made a little envelope with my envelope punch board, tucked some die cut flowers and filler in and that was that. I water colored the flowers and filler with SU watercolor crayons. Again, I'm not great with any kind of water color!
The paper on this card was cut with the Cricut Joy, placed down on a card base. I colored this little die cut with colored pencils, which I do much better with than watercolor. lol But it is pretty washed out and you really can't see the soft pink on the flowers. So two simple cards.
So two cards that I did do, but never posted for the challenge. At least I have two more cards for the stash. I will have some more cards to share again. Thanks for stopping by and visiting with me a spell. I am behind again in commenting, but in my defense the weekend was so beautiful and the first time we got in the pool this summer, so Bret, my SIL and nephew enjoyed it! I will be back to catch up here some time today. Come and enjoy the pool with me?!!! So appreciate you all!!!

It's a shame you never got these cards posted, but I'm glad you shared them with your readers anyway! I love the idea of those flowers and ferns in a little envelope on a card - what a lovely presentation that makes! The pitcher with the flowers is beautiful with those pretty papers and I love the hearts down the side with alternating pattern paper and cardstock! I'm glad you're enjoying that pool this summer because it's getting hotter and hotter now! Have a great week ahead and take care of yourself :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to show your flowers in that envelope. It's a shame you missed the challenge but your cards are both so pretty. Love that purple paper and the design of that card.
ReplyDeleteOh, I love BOTH of them Brenda! That one with the little envelope is so creative - as is the other one too. I always forget about my envelope punch board. Love the second card and the way you did the hearts on the side. Both are beauties!

Gorgeous cards Brenda - loving that sweet daisy die cut and how you have used it on both cards.
ReplyDeleteWhile your days will be starting to shorten, ours will gradually lengthen :)
Stay safe

Brenda I really love them both - those little mirrored hearts are adorable - is that how one would describe them? You sure know how to work magic with that Cricut Joy!
ReplyDeleteThe bouquet tucked into this little envelope is absolutely stunning, my friend! Beautifully colored, perfectly arranged - why haven't we ALL made envelopes to embellish our cards??
Love these, Brenda - enjoy that pool!

I love your watercolor flowers, Brenda! Tucking them in an envelope is a fantastic idea! I hope I can remember that! The pencil colored flowers are so pretty tucked in the watering can! Love that sweet little bird you added! Wish I could join you in the pool!
ReplyDeleteOH! Brenda what delightful cards, love those floral dies and how you have designed the so pretty cards. Love your ideas for items to fill with flowers too. I know what you mean about Summer "time" I hate to think it's getting dark by a few minutes each night. I love the light nights. As for wearing masks, Yep! but only going out when necessary LOL. Keep enjoying that pool.
ReplyDeleteTake care

ReplyDeleteWhat beauties you've made. The Miss you card is so pretty and delicate and I think the water colouring looks wonderful x.
Great design layout on the Birthday card and absolutely beautiful....both of them x.
Sure would love to enjoy the pool with you Brenda x.
What a shame you didn't get a chance to enter these stunning flower cards, Brenda. They sure look like winners to me! I love that little sweet flower and how you have it exploding out of the small white envelope on your miss you card and out of the watering can on your birthday design! Love the pp and that you used kraft bases. I never think to do that for some reason, but I really like the look. Keep enjoying that pool and keep well! Hugs, Auntie

What a great twofer, Brenda and I'm so glad you shared them. I love those pretty flowers and I really love how you have them spilling out of an envelope! I think I'm going to have to case that beauty when I get my mojo back! Love how you did the hearts on the second card too and I love how you coloured the jug.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are okay and how great to be able to cool down in the pool!
