Snowman Shadow Box

Hello crafty friends, I have another project to share with you all. This was a weird Christmas for me, I wasn't ready for Christmas before we left to go to VA. I wasn't even in the mood for Christmas for some odd reason. So didn't finish up Christmas until I was back home just before New Year's Eve. So that mean's presents weren't delivered until January and February! This was the last one to get delivered, so I can share it now. I sure hope this Christmas I am on my game better!  Edited to say I realized I used all scrap pieces of vinyl so I'm off to play at the Snippet's Playground!

It is a little gift of an 8 x 8 shadow box of a cute/odd word snowman. I did like how it turned out although it drove me nuts weeding it. Not going to lie, had to start over a few times with the body of the snowman because I weeded the wrong things! lol But I persevered and got it made. Using my Cricut machine, Design Space and vinyl, this little guy came together.  My friend liked it and I'm happy.

Thanks for stopping by once again and visiting with me for a spell. I so appreciate you all! I also want to thank everyone for all their wonderful comments on my watercolor cards from yesterday! You guys sure make a person feel really good! So thank you for that!

Crafty hugs,

  1. What a darling project, Brenda! I can relate to your attitude this past Christmas. We had a different kind of Christmas. We went to Miami to be with our youngest son, a bachelor who lives in an apartment. We stayed in a nice hotel and had a really good time. We bought a prepared dinner from Trader Joe's which was delicious. I was overjoyed not to have to cook. It was nice to have a change after so many years.

  6. Super cute little gift, yep we struggled with getting into the Christmas spirit this year, work was crazy busy so that took out most of the spirit of the day too. Hugs my friend, Tina

  11. Brenda, this is a sure sign of you knowing WAY more than you think you do about crafting … first off? I don't even know what weeding is [barely do it in my yard either!] and second... this is the cahUTEST snow-shaker I've ever seen!! What a lucky friend to receive this delayed gift!
