Hello my fabulous friends, I hope this Thursday finds you well and looking forward to maybe a delayed Valentine get-a-way or celebration. If not, then I hope you are able to snuggle down with your honey and enjoy a great weekend together!
These cards that I made were given to me as pre-made card bases with the "xoxo" and "heart" cut outs in them. I just jazzed them up a bit. I don't like them, but don't hate them either. Anyway they will do. I used washi tape once again to help dress them up. Wish I would have kept them more CAS but it is what it is now. sigh Well it is these first two that I don't like very well, the third card I made two of and I do love those two. I think this brings me up to 16 Valentines now.
Thanks for coming by and visiting little ole' me for a spell. I so do love visitors! Your comments really do bring me so much joy and sunshine, especially this time of year when I can be melancholy.
Edited this post cause I'm crazy and didn't know what day of the week it was! lol I was a day ahead, so I have fixed this post. Thanks Carol for letting me know! Yes, having only the dog to talk to has made me a little crazy I guess. lol Have a great Thursday!!!!

More great designs Brenda. Good for you for finishing the card kit. Sometimes it's hard to design when there's already something started that you have to work into your design. xx
ReplyDeleteI can see why you love the final card Brenda - that gingham border is perfect. You can remove washi tape if you are very gentle with it - especially if it hasn't been on long :-). Wonder how I know that!!

ReplyDeleteYou did a great job on all of these cards, and I love the creative use of washi tape too! Each one is special and has it's own unique look and they're just as pretty IRL :) Is it Friday already or have I missed a day this week? Time's moving too darned fast, for sure!!
ReplyDeleteYou, like all of us are too down on our work, I think these cards are just WONDERFUL, love the shine, papers and the details.

Such sweet cards Brenda~I'm so glad you could use your items up! I get the "don't like them, don't hate them" dance~I'll love something I made the night before and "meh" to it the next day. These are fantastic~and WOW to 16 Valentine cards!!!!
ReplyDeleteWell, I definitely LIKE these! Not sure what you didn't care for on either card, and you've jazzed them up just fine IMHO. Love the different treatments you've done for each card to make it especially your own design. Good job, I'd say!!! TFS & big hugs. MM
ReplyDeleteFAB!
ReplyDeleteThey are all wonderful! Love the different color combinations. Love the gingham washi tape on the last one! Fabulous!

They're all wonderful Brenda, you certainly excelled in making all these cards. My thought on your "like them sort of, but not quite like feeling but def like last one"... it maybe simply the edging red gingham washi. It really makes that last card pop.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your inspiration! You are a blessing.

The first 2 cards would be great for a guy! Love the gingham on the 3rd card!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a good job "fixing up" the first two and I do like the last one. I love the sentiment and filling the heart with heart was very clever of you.
ReplyDeleteI think these are cute and fun cards, Brenda. The last is my favorite, too. All the Washi pops.
ReplyDeleteGreat cards Brenda. I absolutely love the two hands that form a heart on the top one. Hugs Veerle xxx
