My brother's birthday was yesterday, so this is the card I made for him. It is Pinterest inspired. Just used the print and cut feature of my Cricut for this card. Stacked the whiskey glass 4 times to make it chunky and pop up. Hard to see because I did black on black, but there is a postage mat that the whiskey glass and sentiment is sitting on and that is popped up on foam tape.
I found the inside sentiment online and thought it was perfect. Funny thing is
my brother is 10 years younger than I am. Still had to rib him about soon becoming
a senior. LOL He has two more years to go before officially being a senior, but hey
who's counting?! Surely not me! LOL Oh to be 53 again, right?!

Brilliant card, Brenda. I have a friend this would be perfect for. I might have to CASE this one, if you don’t mind. xx
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun snarky card for your brother who must have a great sense of humor! LOL What a fun image on the outside and a cute and funny sentiment inside too! I like the black on black look too, it's a very classy looking card as well as punny :)
ReplyDeleteOh Wow! So very nicely done card...I like your card design. Great sentiment on that card!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love this one Brenda - especially the humour. If I had that outside sentiment stamp it would be put to use for my (older) brother!! It is stunning done in the black on black with touches of white

What a great card for your brother. Fun and, of course, you have to rib him. That's what sister's are for. I don't know how I missed your St. Paddy's day card but it looks great.

ReplyDeleteOH! Brenda, this is unique, fun, wonderful and everything else. I love the postage edge to the sentiment and insert. I'm sure your brother loved it. I may even case it? I hope all is well. Big Hugs.
