Hello my crafty friends, yep your eyes aren't deceiving you, I am back once again. Don't get to used to it as we all know it won't last. lol I had been working on some birthday cards so I can get them out in the mail. Some will be a little late, but that is me! Always seem to be late mailing cards even when I have them addressed and stamps on the envies. Why? I wish I knew! Anyway, I have a card for you today as a sweet friend asked me to come online and play with her in making a card for a challenge she was in. So since this card fit the challenge over at TCP Tuesday #343 and because I wanted to play along at the Snippet's Playground, I thought I'd better get this post written up. I haven't ever had any Penny Black hedgehog stamps and got this set a while back, been sitting in my container as a NBUS for far to long. So I decided to get it out and play with this set. Here is one card from it. On this card everything is a snippet but the card base.
As always, the recipe will be below. Thanks for stopping by yet another day and visiting with me a spell. You always bring much needed sunshine into my life and for that I am blessed, grateful and oh so thankful!!! See you on the next round!
Crafty hugs,

What Lynn said above! LOL I do that too Brenda! I make cards by month, address them, and write the date to mail them in pencil where the stamp goes, then just check the top of the stack every day as I walk by and add a stamp and mail it WHEN I remember to check as I walk by that is! LOL I'm an organized procrastinator if there is such a thing?! I totally get what you're saying :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the card, it's so cute and I love the hedgies! Great papers and a cute design too! Congrats on making another card so soon :) All it takes is a week of ice to get you crafting again, huh? :)
Oh, aren't these little hedgies toting the present just adorable, Brenda! Love the layout and the dotted paper is perfect for the background! Just a little bit of pattern so the hedgies take the stage!
ReplyDeleteOh, it's so sweet, Brenda!! Those little hedgies are so adorable!! Love this, my friend!! Have a great weekend!! Big hugs :)

How fabulous to see you in the Playground Brenda! Parsnip is running round hollering 'She came baaaaack to play again'. And what a lovely card you brought to share as well - I adore that PB stamp and you used it so well. I guess it'll only be a few weeks until Spike and his family wake up here - I'm hoping they're OK as sometimes we will get a very sleepy visit which the CCTV picks up. But not a peep from them this year - maybe they bought new duvets/quilts for the Winter, tee, hee!!
ReplyDeleteCome back soon!
Hugs

Love those doubly sweet hedgehogs! You've colored them perfectly too. Great colors for this card, and I especially love those patterned papers. It is nice to see you back in blogland, and I'm in today as DH is still in bed, and I can grab a few extra minutes of computer time. Anyway...This is an adorable birthday card, and the recipient will surely love it. I know I do! Bev
ReplyDeleteHmmm, I'm guess there must be a new car in that box, or maybe a new Playhouse, or the like, cuz it's awfully heavy to need two cute hedgies to carry it!! I love this, Brenda! Great use of your NBUS, your snippets, and your pp!! Lots of hugs, Auntie

This card makes me smile, Brenda. How cool that you used NUBUS and snippets. I fluctuate between being on time and being late mailing cards, especially for birthdays. Oh, well.
