Today is a new challenge over at BBTB2. Our sweet Melanie has chosen our theme of hats, mittens and scarves because baby, it's cold outside! At least it is cold here in Central PA. Although yesterday was 55 and today it is only in the low 30's. How does that work?! We have been very fortunate that we haven't had hardly any cold weather or snow so far. I think this is my kind of winter! So for this challenge I made some pocket cards by printing my cards on my Explore. The cartridges I used will be under my pictures. For now, I just have some filler cards in the spaces instead of pictures. I will put pictures in later, I have tons of snow pictures to scrap.
Thanks for joining me today, I always love when you come and sit a spell and enjoy a hot drink with me. Your comments always, always make my day and I will be back to visit you too very soon. Crafty hugs, Brenda
Cartridges Used:
Holiday Cakes - mittens Colors were changed on the Explore
Mr. Frosty for the patterns on the card shapes
Snow Angel - brown/blue hat
Winter Woodland - blue/pink hat
Snow Friends - snowman

Oh Brenda, it is so nice to have you back, creating with us again. I miss my partner "in crime"! I love your pocket card and all the mittens, hat, gloves and cute snowman. The paper is pretty, too. Our winter was mild, at first, but we are making up for it now. We had a wonderful weekend with the kids and grands. It was our oldest son's birthday. I can't believe that he is 36 years old. I enjoyed hugging the grandchildren.
ReplyDeleteWelcome back Brenda my dear dear friend! It's lovely to see you. These are such adorable cards and a great start to the new crafting year! Have a great day! Hazel xx

ReplyDeleteI hope getting back into crafting will help you heal. I'm glad to see you posting again. I have been sharing some cards that were sent to me but I am making a few cards. I didn't really have the mojo to do so before but it does give me something else to think about. Your weather sounds like ours. Some snow, bitter cold temps, then today it was 50 with snow expected again on Sunday and bitter cold.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute I love the colors and happy to see you getting your mojo back. your twin;-) Hugs Diana
ReplyDeletelove you design sister. Welcome back. I love your Snow Friends snowman, he is one of my favorite.

Happy to see that you had a little craft interlude, and this is so cute! Love the colors, the themes, and the way you've filled the 'empty pockets' for now. Hope that this little play will get the motivation going, to gradually return to something you love and do so well. Big hugs, stay warm & cozy. Have a good wkend too. MM
ReplyDeleteGorgeous work Brenda, I adore the cute mittens and the hats. The snowman could fit in the the winter over here, we have - 16 degrees Celsius. I believe it's 3 Fahrenheit! We have snow and icy roads, it's good to have a cocoa with whipped cream to warm up :)
ReplyDeleteLove and warm hugs
