My First SOUS Challenge!

Hi my crafty friends! Happy Friday to you all!! Today is my first challenge with the SOUS die cut team and our challenge is "Here Comes the Sun". My card base is a 5 x 7, I used my Wild Card Cricut cartridge to cut out these trees and hammock.  The person in the hammock doesn't have any clothes and I didn't like that. When I cut it out it look like the guy/gal was naked. lol So using my Spectrum Noir markers I gave him/her a pair of shorts and a shirt, now I think he/she looks much better! I used scraps from my scrap bin to cut all the layers. For my background, I embossed the blue with a SU cloud embossing folder but didn't photograph it well. It looks much better in person. I layered my images on pop dots to give dimension to the card. My sentiment on the front of the card came from My Creative Time and the inside sentiment was made using My Creative Time letter stamps.  I thought this image from Wild Card 2 would make a great retirement card so that is what it became.
