Welcome to Friends Craftin' with Friends and MyPaperCrafting.com’s 24 Carrot EGG-stravaganza Blog Hop! With Easter just around the corner we wanted to share some of our ideas and give you some inspiration for your Easter projects!
If you've come from visiting Chriss at Scrappin' With Chriss and Lou, you're in the right place! If you've just happened across my blog and would like to hop along with us, you can go to MyPaperCrafting.com and start at the beginning.
For my project today I made a banner for Easter, what Easter truly means to me. I used Pretty Pennants, Easter 2010 and the New Testament Cricut cartridges. I also used My Creative Time's doily die and green twine to tie it all together. I am really please with how this came together and it shows the true meaning of Easter. Now I need one with the cute stuff on it, like the bunnies, chicks and such. lol I love how banners give you nice decoration for your home. It took me a while to get on the banner "wagon" but I'm here now and I don't I will tire of them anytime soon!
Melinda has generously given each of us a digital file to give away for blog candy! Is that so awesome?!! This is my digi, this cute little blue bird. Can I say I'm just in love with this birdie?! Now if you would like to win this cute digi leave me a comment and I will use random.org to pick a winner. Also please leave your email address in your comment so the digi can be emailed to you. I will forward the winner's e-mail address to Melinda and she will get your cute digi out to you! Isn't it adorable?!
Now it’s time to hop on down the bunny trail . . . to Suzanne at Cricut Craftin' Grammy. Be sure to visit each blog for a chance at winning some Easter-y blog candy!

I really love your banner! Are you going to share the files for it?
ReplyDeleteI hope so!!
Hi Scrapn, I really don't have a file per say. I just cut the banner pieces-not sure of the size-think they were at 4 or 4.5". My images of Jesus were cut at 3.5" and you can use just about any doily from a Cricut cart or a "real" doily that you get at the store. I tied my banner together with just twine. Hope this helps if you have any other questions please let me know and I will answer them. Thanks for the lovely comment!!

ReplyDeletemygypsierose@sbcglobal.nets for sharing i love hopping!
Your banner is beautiful!!! I don't have that cartridge. You did a great job with the images. I don't have any cartridge with a nice cross on it. I've seen the sheet for New Testament and know there are some nice ones there. Might be my next cart.

ReplyDeleteThis is the most beautiful banner. It is so seldom one sees anything remotely 'religious' on these blogs...maybe at Christmas. You did a fine job with this project, and it is really awesome. Thanks for reminding us what Easter means. Bluebird is real cute too! TFS & Hugs
