Oh boy do I ever wish Spring was in the air!! lol It's Monday and time for a
BBTB2 challenge, our super talented and ever so sweet design team sister Carole gave us the challenge to make something about spring. Yes, we all have the winter blues and are dreaming about spring. lol This is just what we needed!! My layout was totally lifted...I'm a huge fan of
Faith Abigail and she did the layout a while back. I just love her style with her scenes and I knew I wanted to lift it for my spring pictures but had never gotten around to it. So when Carole gave us this challenge I knew now was my time. lol
Here is the original layout and here is mine. Of course Faith's is much better than mine, but I'm pretty happy with the way it came out. I need to add my clouds and a sun yet. The carts used were Freshly Picked for the wheelbarrow and gazebo, Bloom for the tree, Straight from the Nest for the banner, Elegant Edges for the scallop squares, George and Basic Shapes for the rounded corner squares and Paper Dolls for the hills as well as Kate's ABC's for my lettering.
Some close ups:
I hope that you will make something "springy" and upload it to BBTB2. If you need some inspiration go see what my design team sister have for you, they are amazing!! This is a Cricut challenge so please use for Cricut for your "springy" project! Happy Spring!!
I love your layout, Brenda. You used some of my favorite cuts. The greens you used for the grass are inspired. That's a great tree and I bought freshly picked just for that gazebo.
