Hello again crafty friends! Yes, I have two posts for today, can you believe it?! lol Well today is Monday so it is time for another BBTB2 challenge. Our ever to talented Glenda gave us the challenge theme "Roses" in honor of National Rose month this month. We can make anything our hearts desire, using any cart our hearts desire. So with that being said, I chose to use the cart "Shall We Dance", a Cricut Circle cart. I used the creative feature key "medallion" as my card base. I welded two together and used the hide contour for the second one. I didn't think this through before hand though as I wanted my card to sit vertically and not horizontally. Well with the rounded bottom being more rounded than the sides, it just wouldn't sit vertical. lol So horizontal it is. I used some K&Co paper I had in my stash for a long while now for my card base. For my window where the rose is I used zebra vellum that I have had forever now to give it the punch of "wildness". lol A little stickles and liquid pearls and my card is done. I hope you are inspired by all the ever so talented ladies at BBTB2 and will join us in this rose challenge! So what are you waiting for?? Head over to BBTB2 and have a look see!
Oh I love the shapes on your card and your rose is wonderful.

LOVE this! I'm a real fan of zebra and to combine it with the rose cut...perfection! xxD
ReplyDeleteAwesome shaped card! I love the papers you used. The liquid pearls and stickles look fantastic!! Great job!
ReplyDeleteBTW, you mentioned about checking out the Lacy Labels cartridge. If you live near a Wal Mart check it out-because ours is closing out all the cricut lite carts at 15-20 dollars. They said all the Wal Marts are so it's worth checking on if you really like it. It's a great cart to have! Have a great evening!
