Celebrating Cricut Craftin Grammys
1 year Blogaversary
We're so happy you could join us for this hop celebrating the one year blogaversary of Cricut Craftin Grammy. I have asked a few of my Cricut Messageboard friends as well as my Design Team friends (Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog, Lasting Memories and Sweet Sassy Diva )to join her in this two day Blog Hop. The participants are allowed to share anything creative they wish to share using a Cricut (or other die cut machine if they do not have a Cricut.)
Overall Blog Candy
I hope you will hop along with us and leave comments along the way. For the overall blog candy you need to leave a comment on each blog each day.
If you leave a comment on all the blogs both days your name will be entered into the Random drawing twice. The random winner will receive a $25 gift card from their choice of Michaels or Joanns.
This is a TWO-DAY hop, so be sure to check out both days so you don't miss any creativeness. Because there is a large number of participants I will give you until January 30th to post your comments for the two days of the blog hop. Thanks for joining us!
Let's get hopping!! If you've hopped over from Terri http://craftmeaway.blogspot.com/, then you are in the right place!! If you've just popped in to visit my blog or are reading this via email and you'd like to join our FUN, then please CLICK HERE to start at the beginning with Suzanne's Blog
For the hop today, I've created .......
A small Valentine's banner. It is tiny, but oh so cute!! I used Birthday Bash for the banner part. I welded the letter shadow to my base using the shadow font from Martha Steward Seasonal Cake Art catr then cut it out in white card stock. I welded "happy" to the top part of the banners and the "day" from bottom of the banners. For my banner layer, I used DCWV glitter paper in light pink. For my shadow layer, I used black card stock to go over top of the white welded layer. Then I cut out the regular letters using DCWV glitter paper in silver. Did the same for "day" as I did with "happy". I used Cindy Loo font for "valentines" using black at the base and red as the top layer. I put a small pearl on each font letter. I then attached the letters to a rosette made from a Tim Holtz rosette die. I used red twine to attach my banner together to hang. And there you have it, easy peasy. I am entering my little banner in Decorate to Celebrate Challenge Blog for their Valentine decorations challenge.
Base of my banner and layer is 3"
Shadow and Regular Martha Steward Font layer is 1.50"
Base and Layer Cindy Loo Font is 1.75"
Now what's a hop without blog candy??? Become a follower of my blog and leave a me comment both days and your name will be entered twice. The random winner will win a $10.00 Hobby Lobby gift card!
Thank you again for checking out my project... Now hop to the next stop: Rachelle http://creationsbyrachelle.blogspot.com//...
