A Few Easy, Plain Jane Cards

Hope everyone weathered out Irene safe and sound!!  We had lost a couple big tree limbs in our front yard, but that didn't hurt my feelings since they are Chestnut trees and I want them down!! LOL  So we clean up this afternoon and all is good again.  We only lost our electric in the middle of the night and it was back on when I woke up at 4am.  A little water in the old part of the basement, but not much and some of our field corn leaves were shredded by the wind and some blown over, so all in all we were very blessed!!

Well here are a few cards that are plain Jane cards.  For the first one I used an SU punch and My Creative Time stamp set, "Wow! So Many Candles".  Love Emma's stamps!!  I am showing you a close up of the punched flower that I cut  two of and placed on top of each other to add some dimension.  I used all scraps for all my cards.

My next card I used a MS punch, a SU punch and SU new ribbon which I love, oh and pearls in a bottle.  All scraps once again, except of course the card base. See I told you plain Jane cards.

My next two cards I made last night while my guys went to play Texas Hold'em.  I didn't feel like going out in the rain so I stayed home.  I was in the Halloween mood so my first card was made using an MS punch, Just Rite stamps and Happy Hauntings.  Plain but I thought it was cute.  And the next one is simple but kinda' cute.  I used George Cricut cart, Just Rite Stamps and Pooh and Friends Cricut Cart, some stickles to make it look like stars twinkling in the night sky.  I am think about enter this one or maybe the ghost one in SOUS "sky" challenge.  Hope you enjoyed my plain Jane cards!
